The movie is about a guy named Julian who pretends to be a girl's decreased brother to take her money and pay off a huge debt that he owes a man. The girl is blind. As u watch the movie you realize that most of her caretakers are out for her money and don't really care for her. They purposely delay her from getting a surgery that could save her live just so she can die and they can have her money and the family company. Eventually Julian and Min (the girl) fall in love.
They fall in love and Julian starts to feel guilty about lying to her bc he himself has fallen for her. She does realize that he isn't her brother early in the film but since she likes him she doesn't seem to care so much. The end is bittersweet and it's kind of a tearjerker but overall the movie is pretty good.
So? Love knows no number and has no bounds. He's age isn't that bad. You make it sound like he has a disease. I know couples who are over 20 years apart in age. I don't find it disgusting whatsoever. If you love someone and they love you age shouldn't matter. The only time it should is if it involves something like pedophilia which isn't the case here. I think you should be more open-minded about this topic bc your view of it can be offensive to some people.
@bgurl1210 im actually very open minded about the topic of age gaps in love. but i thought she was under 18 and he looks about 30 so i was worried about that concept in a movie
i understand. She is supposed to be of legal age in the movie. Even though they fall in love they do not kiss in the movie. All they do is hug and that's about it. The movies shows how they become intimate at in emotional level and how they fell in love with each other even though both are blind. Him not physically but by his greed and selfishness. And her by her cold demeanor that prevents her from trying to get close to people.
@bgurl1210 u know...i just watched the trailer for DITTO (another korean film) and although she is his mother's age....i kinda wish they had a thing too...
This part was so sad. It set my heart racing to tears. Moon Geun Young did a very good job in this movie. Just have to love her for who she is. Thank you for the upload.
