I could watch this all day everyday... This was my first ever game when i was 6 years old still remember everything from that day like it was yesterday. How we need players like Rufus, Mendonca and co these days bunch of passionless players we are stuck with atm. I would give anything for a super clive
most agonising day of my life as a younging, i knew micky gray was ganna miss that pen that aside one of the best games ive ever witnessed and probably ever will
That game woz sick. I am a 13 year old boy and I remember when my dad came home he was over the moon and in tears. Good days, next season we r gonna be in championship.
safctillidie2002 ur just a spastic whos probably a bitter old nob who hasnt bin laid in 20yrs coz ur an inbread. Charlton fans were ecstatic for bout a month afterwards
both teams support on the day was fantastic, both sets witnessed one of the great wembley games..get over it mackems, neither team deserved to lose, but someone has to...one of the greatest days of my life, and hangover to match !!!!
Voted 19th best ever football game ever by eurosport, credit to both teams on the day but it is one of the most memorable games for Charlton supporters.
wat a game, was there n charlton gave there support all the way throu the game n long afta the game had finished so dont know wer the shit support comment cum from!!!

still makes me sad seeing this game we were the best team in the league for the second half of season beaten by a small club from london mickey grays a wanker asnd so was clive mendonca
its totally true. didnt see any of them celebrateing aroudn the ground afterwards, sunderland were still going mental on the piss. though i accept e have differnet types of support and charltn have never been the most passionate around. being the family club and allthat
the sunderland fans were a real credit to football that day, i remember leaving the ground and being greeted by all the sunderland fans and instead of it kicking off they just applauded, a truly brillant day

No swindon v leicester was better. There is nothing more exciting than coming back from 3 nil down and then being robbed by a dodgy penalty. Shit commentator on this aswell. Alan Parry is the only Play-off final commentator for me.

Has to be the best play-off final ever. Gutted for Bridges (and that we lost), but things have turned out alright. Was one hell of a match
