I noticed that you are "flicking" the boomerangs and I wondered could you "throw" them the same way you would thier larger wood and plastic counterparts?? and 2 .......I understand that they can be thrown just like a frisbee but what exactly is it that propels them back to you??? not to sound stupid but I don't really understand the physics behind it

These tiny boomerangs normally need more spin than throwing them can provide. A flick is best. I would like to teach more about how and why boomerangs return, but the space in a comment is FAR TOO limited. The actual physics behind boomerang flight is actually a bit complex. I suggest the article at howstuffworks com. Look up "Boomerang" there.

This video was shot in two sessions about 8 hours apart, and I changed shirts in the second recording session. The way the video was edited makes it seem like I changed BACK to my original shirt, but that wasn't the case. I must be getting old, as I totally overlooked the change until someone before you commented. I need to be more careful I guess.
