  • I have the glyde u940 or something like that and its not good.....so i would get the omnia....and is this a durable phone??

  • Does this phone REQUIRE verizon's data plans, or could it just be used as a simple phone for calling, texting, etc?

  • I have this phone about a year and still I can`t watch you tube videos in a decent resolution. So what can I do?

  • @loco039 lol same here and I really don't like this phone, I've tried everything to fix it, it's a sad excuse for a phone in my opinion. Even it's functionality as a calling phone sucks, it is always choppy and cuts me off

  • i was told the lg alley is better what would you get

  • so this phone requires a data plan right?

  • I don't know wich phone buy this one, Samsung Omnia i910 or the HTC pure....wich one is better and why?

  • hi there

i am about to buy this phone, but can you tell me the difffernet things between the i900 and i910 verizon?? and does i910 available only in US and Australia??

    please answer, thank you.

  • this phone looks really cool... I'm thinking of getting one, it just sucks that you have to take the battery off in order to put in the micro SD card. thanks SOOOOO much for the review!

  • i mite get this phone but idk.......sum1 tell me if i shud get it or not ???? plz

  • no it does not

  • im gonna go to this phone from a BB Storm... will i need to get a new data package?

  • do you have to pay for the internet like youtube or anything? please respond thank you

  • Yes.

  • hey how would you compare this phone to the Verizon Samsung Rogue? I've been reading reviews about the Omnia and it had tons of bad reviews (3/5). So please tell me is the Rogue is better than the Omnia or not. I might get the Rogue because i've never used a phone thats a touch screen and a slider phone. So i might go with the Rouge. Does anyone know that if you can change the back cover of the Rogue?

  • im sorry but you sound like michael jackson, at some parts

  • en que se diferencia del i900?

  • do you have to pay for the internet and the GPS?

  • You can have Internet when u connect the phone to a computer. The Internet loads from it, to the USB, then to the phone. Works perfect!!!!

  • what do you mean it loads from the computer? could you send me a message that further explains that cuz i think imma get this phone and i need some feed back thank you!!

  • do you HAVE to buy internet for this phone or is it optional?

  • have to, sadly.

  • Really good phone!! Has anything u need!

  • stylus?

  • Yes, but it doesn't go in anywhere on the phone. It's a separate accessory.

  • yes it does. it goes on the lanyard holes on the phone on the left side.

  • can u watch videos on youtube from internet explorer or is there a app?

  • It supports only youtube mobile.

  • do u need a data plan to get the phone

  • yup. its considered a smartphone for verizon so its an extra 30 bucks a month for data

  • why do u need to pay for a data plan when it has wi fi? and do u have to buy a data plan?

and did verizon unlock the gps on phone??

    thx in advance

  • haha, lg dare with steroids

  • Can you see the phone's screen out in the sun light? 'Cause I heard the screen would simply looked turned-off out the sun light.

  • how much does the phone cost without 2 year contract?

  • dont listen to that idiot the omnia cost $270 with a 70 dollar mail in rebate

  • i just got off the phone with verizon becuase i wanted to get this phone but my contract is not due yet.. and was 540 pretty much. You get the 270 and 70 dollar rebate with 2yr contract though. Even if they gave you the rebate its still nearly 500.

  • she says lil nigga at 8:10 lol hahaha

  • Niggle. It means to be attentive to minor details.

  • "It's the Dare on steroids" lol

  • i knew this old lady wasnt going to talk about the texting features

  • Hopefully getting this soon, (I love Annual Upgrade)lol

  • do you have to pay 30 dollars a month for this?

  • yes but you get unlimeted internet. i can't wait till i get dis fone on saturday

  • you get unlimited internet on the omnia?

  • for 30 bucks

  • you have to buy a data plan. verizon has a mandatory data plan, for 30 dollars.

  • ok well gues what bitches im getting in in about 3 hours!!!!!!!!!!!

  • o well im getting this shit in two days NIGGA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • getting it september 1st 2009

  • getting it june, 5th 2009

  • I would really like to get this phone for my Birthday. It's nice. Pretty good quality for verizon

  • Samsung omnia or iphone? help/ comments

    thanks

  • What phone company you have?

  • verizon but my contract is up

  • Hmm. I recommend the LG Versa. Ive been hearing bad things about the hardware on the omnia. And the iPhone. I have a friend who has one. He doesnt like it. The touch screen is buggy, the battery life sucks too. So i recommend the LG versa or Windows Mobile HTC touch Pro

  • Haha she said "Its like the LG Dare but on steroids"

  • The phone is freaking sweet ....but the bullshit part is you have to pay $30 for the data plan...that is so gay i hate Verizon for that why would i add $30 more to my monthly fee...I was wondering if you can buy this phone from Ebay and just switch you old phone # with new....will you still have to pay the $30 data plan?...I really like this phone the only reason i am not gonna get it because of the gay data thing

  • do you HAVE to pay the 30 dollar plan every month

  • I just wanted to know if the $30 a month plan for the internet and email is only for the first 6 months. I'm not sure could someone answer my question please, thank you.

  • Sasuke id say get the omnia because if you want browsing it has a great browser and if you want texting it has a virtual querty keyboard but its still your call.

  • lg dare is better

  • Doesn't this phone have wi-fi? with wifi you can connect to a router for free right? since this phone has wi-fi.......

  • That's true, but you still have to pay for the data plan. So either way you're still out $30 every month.

  • guys what should i get the sansung omnia or glyde i think both are good but what do u think?

  • Look-wise the Omnia is better and has better camera and UI. The Glyde has full QWERTY. So it's really up to what you use the most and like the most.

  • Dont rule out the dare its pretty freakin cool..

  • Your talking about two completely different phones here. I'm almost positive that you can nab the Glyde for half the price on Verizon, but the Omnia is a Windows Mobile smartphone running on their 3G network. You have to pay a data plan with this one. I've heard the Glyde's touch screen can be a little buggy, but then again you have the full pull-out keyboard. It's your call. Both phones have their pros and cons. Cheers!

  • my friend has the glyde and the keyboard sucks! It clicks where you dont even touch sometimes its so annoying and the phone hangs itself up

  • One single thing i dont like about US released phones are the color. The korean Omnia has a white version of Omnia which looks really freaking sweet much better than thet US grey ew D:

  • well actually theres an omnia mint color one or silver.

  • Thank you for that nice review

  • Is dis phone good 4 texting?? cause know one does a review on it

  • seriously!

thats what i want to know!

  • it's good for texting on landscape mode...I'm going to an unboxing and hands-on review for it sometime next week, i'll describe the texting

  • i fucking want that phone!!!! ooo it just bugs me lolz

  • thats bomb ass. With my verizon discount it'll be pretty decent...damn can't wait to get this! Thanks for the review!

  • that thing is a fucking tank! to bad im not paying 30$ for an email package im never going to use.

  • The 30 dollar package isn't just email. It also includes internet.

  • i want that phone only thing is the OS looks kinda slow

  • Hey i got a question for you Do you need to pay extra money for this phone like the blackberry storm.

  • no, just the storm...

  • Noooo you have to pay the data plan for every PDA/smartphone now so this is a smartphone and you have to pay for it

  • so i could activate this phone and not pay anything required like the $30 bb storm (expect for minnutes witch you have to have)??

    sorry i'm just making sure

  • You have to pay it you can try talking your way out of it but its required..

  • If you are already a verizon customer, paying extra for the plan doesn't apply to you as long as you don't change the plan. With the exception of the storm...

  • Can you read ebooks on it?If so, can you download books from a third party?

  • It has windows mobile, so yes, and plenty more than that.

  • i like the fone but its a little to long for me i lovee the samsung tocco much better x

  • If you want to use the internet, do you have to pay for it? and is there wifi?

  • you need to get Verizon's data plan to access the Net using EV-DO.

    Yes, it does have WiFi.

  • acually the i900 and the i910/i907 is the same phone just with diffrent name..the i900 is for europe and the i910 or i907 is for america

  • great review

  • Can you put 3rd party apps on it?

  • compared to the storm..which one is better?

by what ive seen it seems like this phone is better

  • at least cut your nails dude....

  • "dude", HER name is Lisa!

  • Do You think the samsung eternity is beter then tha samsung Omnia??????

  • Another EXCELLENT review! ... and the phones ok.. lol

  • are the dimensions of the i900 and i910 the same??..

    if not, by how much?

    thank you

  • what is the diffrent compare to the i900

  • How is the pre-installed touch media player? I read in other reviews that it was a touch grabby at times.

    Thanks!

  • Seems fine. Didn't notice it being grabby.

  • would this be a good phone for a teenager? or is it too business like?

  • It's got many smartphone features like all Windows Mobile phones with business apps, syncing and such. Depends on what the teenager needs, it might have many things that they don't care about.

  • can you buy the samsung omnia i910 with verizon in australia.?

  • The Samsung Omnia i910 is the Verizon version and it's locked to Verizon.

You can check out the unlocked GSM version.

  • Yes it is similar to the Eternity and Behold, but with smartphone features added.

  • its a nice phone. Somewhat like the eternity. I think thats how its spelled
