  • Hi...Thanks - inspired me think about how to do a reflection without a black background at the base. Transparency gradients can be done in PSP using a mask. Make a new picture with just a black to white gradient, save wherever your PSP saves its Masks and then use this (via load mask in layers menu). You can play around with different gradients etc until you get ones you like. Can then all be done very quickly.

  • Excellent suggestion - thanks ...

  • Wonderful - it really is a lot of fun ...

  • Ummm so I tried this with Corel PaintShopPro XI and with Raster 2 the fade make the bottom fade correctly but the top it isn't black instead it is gray

  • I don't have PSP XI but I suspect it should be the same.

Perhaps the Gradient is stall active (this is the reflective surface, isn't it).

Make sure you select the colors and not the gradient tool.

  • what size do i use to make bookmarkers

  • Hmmm - about 1" wide and 7" long should do it.

Just create a file that size and go to work with the reflection - great idea, by the way.
