I really want to say, this by far is my favorite cover I've seen of my favorite song. i supppose youre right but i will share my opinion w/you in 2 parts (if you'll listen) my only problem is that delp's sound was informed by american folk music, rock & roll from the '50s, perhaps french jazz & people who were almost his comtemporaries. 20 to 30yrs later, along comes Oasis who play a sound that's brand new & original but familiar too. they had the advantage of being informed by delp & his comtemporaries. i guess im trying to say that the term genuis is overused in my opinion.
