Does anyone know why they never perform this song live? I can't find any evidence of any kind of them ever playing this, and their site used to have a list of all their songs and a number of times performed live on each song, and this one never went above 0 that I saw.

I saw some interview with Omar where the guy asked him if they were going to play Cavalettas in concert and he said that the band is holding some of the Bedlam tracks back (Cavalettas, Tourniquet Man, Askepios, etc) so they can play them on the later half of the tour this year so they wont get bored with all of them right away.

compairing mars volta albums is impossible because they each have a different sound... everytime you listen to one of their albums you find a new favorite song or breakdown or solo... and yeah to say ones better then another is kind of impossible if you really really really love the volta

Amputechture was a dissapointment, admittedly this is not as different from Amputechture as all the previous albums have been from each other, but it is certainly a big step up from Amputechture and not a disapointment.
