This was several years before I started watching wrestling even though it was about a year after I attended a show in Memphis while we were visiting family. What I'm wondering is that the place this match is taking place in looks like the same place where they did a show that that came on Saturday Mornings on TBS. I started watching it in early '86. About a year after I started watching WWF on Saturday as well. Is this that same show?

Briscoe has a lead pipe cinch on that headlock. Fantastic. Way to work the match and get the crowd on its feet.

young wrestlers should watch this even after getting out of the headlock, he sold its affects that is how you tell a story.

They don't use headlocks anymore. They punch, kick, flip, and flop. The old style of wrestling is sadly gone!

Randy Orton averages 7 headlocks per 5 minutes and gets a lot of flack for it.
