Okay, so all's forgiven! ;) My son is 8, HFA, and stuck in a self-contained room. I've been fighting it and am working hard on getting him mainstreamed. ALL kids w/disabilities should have the option for inclusion with excellent supports and a kick-butt IEP. Wish me luck! I am not giving up and am getting some good advice and support here in Spokane, WA.
Zacharyzachary..when I clicked "more" on "About this Video", I see you wrote "ridiculous" re: this soon to be airing on a local TV channel. My question is: Why??
Inclusion is what should be done for kids with special needs. I find it odd you would post this then mock it. Shame on you.
I am mocking myself. I am all about inclusive education, but I find it a little silly to see myself looking into a camera and explaining my educational philosophy. I am normally more introverted about my thoughts, and it feels a little ridiculous to know that I will be seen on television trying to sound intellectual about what I do.
