I've got that all-over epilepsy... it's basically like a little nuclear bomb going off in my brain. I wake up feeling like I got the shit kicked out of me by a team of midget ninjas. And, before they were done, they threw me into a time machine. When I wake up, you could tell me it was the year 2026, it would seem totally reasonable. It beats my ass every time. I feel emotions, for which... there aren't even words invented yet, to describe them. And, what's with Brit's and Coldplay? It's awful.
Hi great video,I think l may have epilepsy but l am not sure, being seeing a specialist for a mood disorder, and she thinks l am epileptic as well,l been having quite a lot of seizures lately nearly every day some are little some are big, sometimes they are very vilent more so than most videos i have seen and can last quite a long time, but l have my eyes open and can see whats going on around me,l think l may be having absence seizures as well.does this sound epilepsy to you?
you should go to the doctors because the more epileptic seizures you have the more damage your doing to your brain. but i am sure if you explained your symptoms to the doctor they will send you to the hospital for some test.
. if there's anything else that you need to ask me feel free to ask me
My fits are triggered by like road sounds or construction or an alarm my first one was an alarm i froze picking up a ball and i thought i was going to die
For some years now I thought I have TLC but ive been to scared to go to the drs about cos I'm scared they'll just think im crazy or stupid the drs in my town arent very good although this could all be my small town prejudices either way what should i do?
Good vid Im a pretty badly damaged TLE... I had 80 a year for 23 yrs before I got diagnosed. Recommending drugs is good advice. Also Its probably worth talking about mood disorders etc strongly associated with the partial epilepsies.
@Interactivesystems Oh dear that's not good I am very sorry to hear that. I hope it is under control now. What type of damage was there to the TLE.
I agree About recommending different drugs but at the same time some people might try to order them off the internet so i have to be careful and they might not be right for the type of epilepsy. But i will give it ago. But i am going to go in to a few other types of partial Epilepsy.
@Epileptics1 well..ts a bit odd. I developed Bipolar II and an anxiety disorder firstly, I I started having religious hallucinations (im an atheist),, and began to have a temporary psychoses, (e.g would think I am an swiss imposter for a few hours, or that reality was a very vivid dream for a few hours) the rate of seizures increased significantly also.
@Interactivesystems What I meant was, had I begun drug treatment earlier, the illness would not have escalated as badly as it did, and hence recommending drug treatment is good advice.
@Interactivesystems Would you mind if I talked about your disorder in my next video? have you any more information on it if you choose to accept? if so, send it too me over email. I will also be researching other drug treatments and talking about those also.
@Interactivesystems I would like to point out my TLE (diagnosed at 18) was almost re-diagnosed as Bipolar two and at one stage I was diagnosed with anxiety. After further investigation by a psych in contact with my neuro it was agreed that I did not have either bipolar II or anxiety disorder. The things that were happening to me that seemed similar to bipolar and anxiety were in actual fact all different variations of temporal lobe seizures.
