Ah ha 75 ton...old mate at Thiess Burton mine got video of 219 ton for two passes in his R9800.

@gleslie2 219 on the truck scales? most likely they need to be recalibrated, You have to remember that the weight on the truck recalibrates when it hits 2nd gear so if you drop 75 to from enough height it may measure 110 at the hit but then when all the struts relax out on the haul and the truck hits 2nd a new total will show up that is more accurate

In this thiess video it is very sad to see one of the world’s best refined quality brand of machines (the other being Caterpillar) swinging so Dee rated.

Just looking at the lack of stable machine control, lack of bucket compaction, and bucket creep it is obvious the pressure relief valves, pumps and engines are Dee rated causing the electric over hydraulic servo to falter constantly causing operator fatigue and eventually machine damage internally and most noticeably external panel damage of the upper carriage and bucket into truck tubs etc. The pumps look like there being run at five out of ten.

Only productive serious mining people who want to move material will run gear at full pumps ten out of ten and engines that can hold above 1800 revolutions per minute under full load with all the 6 control leavers at the same time applied to the full hydraulic pressure positions. These types of people are the only people I will work for!

Never let your maintenance team or sales franchise personnel under the Liebeherr quality name convince you too, and or, that they haven’t Dee rated your gear, or I should say “sand bag your gear”. These criminals Dee rate your gear for supposed extension of machine life.

5 If your machinery is lasting as long as a disposable shaver, stop buying cheap gear! It’s simple stupid!

Why do BMW’s an Audi’s come from Europe and not Asia? Because Europe makes quality that lasts. Yeah! I do rather run a quality old digger that’s tuned up to maximum all of its working life from new, rather than a new Dee rated disposable cheapo excavator.

6 While you and your Dee rated gear was sand bagging I was out running someone else’s gear who are running tuned up to an inch of its life while still under warranty moving more and getting ahead thus increasing share hold wealth better than the competition. Comment all you like but the fact is if you want to move Ore the fastest you got to run gear fully powered all the time.

I, myself are here in this world to do only one thing, move material productively by swinging non-Dee-rated gear.

I do not work for mining people who stand around posing, pretending, making out they got the gear “bling” and can move dirt better than all.
