I remember my first breakup and this song and album on repeat, before and after the boyfriend! We were both fans and went to see Sebadoh perform at the Galaxy in Santa Ana CA. I waited to talk to Lou Barlow after the show to ask if he wrote this song and other material about his wife. Looking back he was so sincere to answer some tactless teenager's questions, that is the kind of person he is - true artist. And before the internet blew up anyone who could write a song and post it on YOUtube
fuckin A lou barlow kicks my ass and puts me down all at the same time... anyone who takes the time to acualy listen to them will make anything else seem inferior
@hoops120 I saw them in Glasgow a couple of years ago- and was on my own for the same reason!- just found out they are playing in Edinburgh in August- is gonna be awesome- maybe some new stuff out too...?
When my searches using ¬zebedoh¬ came up with nothing i started to worry that i might have hallucinated the band all those years ago! ( i was smokin large quantities of weed back then! ) lol
@funkyradbomtrack NO YOU'RE NOT you're into zebadoh!!!! therefore you rock!! have you checked out "The Sebadoh" some of the "newer" stuff....you won't be dissapointed!!!
Thank you for making my day, LOL. Don't worry...for ages whenever people talked about Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart," I thought they were talking about INXS' "Never Tear Us Apart."
I always feel internal conflict when I hear a song that pegs my emotional state; on the one hand, it's comforting to know someone else has been in my shoes. On the other, I get frustrated that a song for my troubles has already been written by someone else.
This is a song I feel empathizes with me at the moment. I'd love the chance to ask Lou Barlow about the inspiration behind it.
Brilliant song but Dino Jr were different not better -id put them both up high on that platform in my mind - for me the 3 are the best - together they are jusl like heaven
i kind of know what you mean but the more I listen to the new dino jr i like it more.....i have to admit that their stuff with lou is still my favorite
what a lovely song.

We were in a second-hand music shop with a friend when we heard this album and looked at each other like "WTF?! This is awesome !"
We went to the seller and he gave me a paper with the name on it.
It was one year and a half ago, and I just take the time to listen to this today, and... WTF?! This is awesome !
