Hawaii is great in the WAC, but in the SEC they would be mediocre at best. When a defense can rush 3 and get pressure, especially with no threat of a run, your offense is in trouble.

Well I know since Mark Richt took over UGA become very very good. Not taking anything away from them Georgia478. UGA is a great team. I still wanted them to go out and play USC. Hawaii is a good team but they got punished out there. If they wanna compete they need to upgrade to a better conference so they can get better experience. They are still a good team and I am proud of them.

The truth is UGA outmatched Hawaii. One of the Hawaii players said to his team if your scared get back on the bus. He should have encouraged his team instead. Indeed even people from hawaii well maybe not alot of them but some expectected this, the atheletes on georgia of course out rank hawaii with our mere 50,000 dollar recruiting salary compared to the millions of dollars bigger schools spend on their sports, and the fact that georgia has been on fire. it was great for hawaii to get this experiance though also gave me an excuse to go to new orleans ^^. Man, you guys took our state to an awesome experience that we may never even get to experience ever again. Thanks for the ride and although the game was a loss, you guys are winners in our hearts and minds. You guys made all of us folks feel proud to be part of Hawaii.
Anything could happen in this season Just look at USC and Michigan for example. USC lost to Stanford and Michigan lost to Appalachian. We were suppose to play Michigan, but hey. They were afraid to lose to a non-BCS school so they wanted to play a division I-AA team instead. We beat Boise State and they're a pretty solid team. Washington almost beat USC, and I think that shows that Washington isn't that bad either. I admit we had a weak schedule, but part of it is not our fault.

South Carolina ended up in the top ten before losing 5 straight, and they lost their best defensive player in Jasper Brinkley, who single-handedly dismantled us. Now, UGA had a let down game against Tennessee, true, but at the end of the season, USC and UGA were the best.

The truth is UGA outmatched Hawaii. One of the Hawaii players said to his team if your scared get back on the bus. He should have encouraged his team instead. Congrats to UGA though, but they were going for it on 4th down and the players were very physical when the whistle was being called. And how sick it made me feel to hear 'Overrated'. UGA wasn't always a powerhouse like they are now.

Indeed even people from hawaii well maybe not alot of them but some expectected this, the atheletes on georgia of course out rank hawaii with our mere 50,000 dollar recruiting salary compared to the millions of dollars bigger schools spend on their sports, and the fact that georgia has been on fire. it was great for hawaii to get this experiance though also gave me an excuse to go to new orleans ^^. Anything could happen in this season Just look at USC and Michigan for example. USC lost to Stanford and Michigan lost to Appalachian. We were suppose to play Michigan, but hey. They were afraid to lose to a non-BCS school so they wanted to play a division I-AA team instead. We beat Boise State and they're a pretty solid team. Washington almost beat USC, and I think that shows that Washington isn't that bad either. I admit we had a weak schedule, but part of it is not our fault.

Okay guys. Georgia is a GREAT team and should be playing in the national championship but got stuck in the Sugar Bowl. But you have to give UH some respect. They come from the WAC and that means that if we lose just 1 game to anybody, we lose a berth to a BCS bowl game. But we didn't. MSU is actually one of the lower tier teams in the SEC. The fact that they were even bowl eligible is nothing short of amazing for that program. Hau'oli Makahiki Hou Warriors! It seems ya'll have a lot of pride in your football team, and rightfully so. However, you have to remember that Hawai'i is the 3rd self-proclaimed "most potent offense in the country" we've faced since 2005, and our defense is pretty doggone good. I think UH will put up a good fight for 2 1/2 quarters, but the size, and depth of the Dawgs will help them prevail. Here's hoping for a great sUGAr Bowl!

Something to keep in mind regarding Mark May...1980: May was the Outland Trophy winner on a Pitt team that included Dan Marino, Jimbo Covert and Hugh Green. May felt that Pitt, instead of Notre Dame, deserved to play UGA in the 1980 Sugar Bowl for the MNC. He felt UGA & ND lobbied hard to make that uses every chance he gets to take shots @UGA.

What does it say about your strength of schedule when a struggling UW team was the best team you have faced this year? Alot of people said we could'nt stop Boise's running game, Ian Johnson will runover our ass...LOL, blah blah blah. Holding them to only 30 yards rushing in the last 3 quarters says alot about our defense. Its called stepping up and BELIEVING. Which I have no doubt our team CAN do.

dude, i go to Georgia tech, and I would love 2 see you guys thrash them.... but, Ian Johnson isnt anywhere close to ANY of UGA's running backs. And after seeing Knowshon run all over Florida and Auburn, I doubt you guys are going to stop him. but i wish you luck and hope Colt saves the day.

Tebow was injured that game.. that really takes away from you beating them considering he won the heisman and a team with a 50% heisman isnt nearly as good.

I've been on the field of Aloha Stadium during UH football games. And there can be a good deal of wind. Even with the wind, Colt Brennan is extremely accurate. I can't wait to see how accurate Colt is with NO WIND in the SuperDome!!! GO WARRIORS
