This song just reminds me of feeling happy and sad, surrounded by people but alone, and totally tired but unavoidably wired... the life of an addict sucks. And I hope one day this song will mean something else to me. It's too good a song to always remind me of one pissed away afternoon/ decade.
I remember being drunk/ hungover and out of my mind... and this song just became fused with my mind one afternoon... I can remember it so well. Great song, I have over listened to it on occasion though. :)
Back then we had Philo Lynott and Rory Gallagher as musical ambassadors. Nowadays it's Jedward. Never mind the economy, thats the first thing needs mending!
