@zenelporto i think he used an adjustable one at first and then understood the math..........then he did not need to adjust it after that......he just made it correctly in the VIC later
i think a wiper arm on the wire would work to adjust the number of wires
i have had my 8xa up and running shall be doing a video of it soon . however output was good but amps were a bit high from incorrect chokes ; have you any idea on the amount of turns i need to use where can i find a diagram on how to make a vik coil like stan's in his original 8xa circuit

core material effects inductance, as well.....size and wire size....wire spacing...and many others....
the inductor needs to be tuned to the capacitance of the cell and the water inside...........size and everything has to be matched to the frequency from the circuit
if one thing is mismatched.............dont work
your cell would need to be the same as stans if you use the same coil
and the good thing is that im a turner by trade si i can help myself to as much stainless steel piping as i wish plate stainless as well . SO who cares lts get some hho pumping. My 16 plate dry cell didnt cost me a bean
Respond to this video... the most important parts of his circuit are the chokes in this case it will be trial and error with home made chokes with welding rods
@theoneagain meyers tech is not basic hydrolisis.......cell configeration may not be the same as what you have, may not work at all with meyers circuit................plain water comes in many shades of plain
@irondmax well ive ordered my variac today so ill have to wait and see if it works or not. if not ill have to build a stanley type cell doesnt bother me its all good fun thats what its all about experimenting.
The reason for using the alternator is to get the back emf that you normally wouldn't get by using just a straight pwm setup. With the alt you get sharper pulses. The trick is creating the right pwm circuit to pulse the feild coils with and a car battery.
@MightyZarkon not exactly correct here either. sorry. the alternator for one was an amp limiter
the alternator can produce back emf.....but you can get that with just inductors. back emf is only part of the reason for using the alternator.
a car battery is only needed to power the fields of the alternator. yes you can use a pwm, stan did not use a pwm on the alternator. just applied 5 volts at 2 amp. no pwm needed.
This is nothing more than Stans rendition of a 555 timer/PWM circuit but this thing isn't all there is to it it's only a part. This baby pulses current to a separate alternators feild coils and the 3 phase output is then clipped by a rectifier to make pulsed DC that is hooked up to the electrolyzer. You can just use a DC motor to spin the Alt. for a demonstration using the pwm to drive it too.

this is a house power pulser
rectified AC. turn the voltage up and down. this circuit has nothing to do with the alternator.
this was stans demostration circuit used on his adjustable plate cell and his tube array....no alternator was used linked to this circuit......it was for demostation

everyones cell will be a different capacitance....depending on size, shape, and electrode spacing, plus water type and or what is in the water......maybe even altitude.....not sure. inductance needs to match.....yes
those meters are expensive....i did not buy one yet.....
for now, just doing the best i can....sharing as i can show it.....new cell of 8 tubes 20 inches long....hope to fire it up this weekend.......i will post the news

@waqaskhan148 some of my videos use the same inductor ......i am trying a smaller one of simular design. inductors are very interesting.....change one little thing....get a very different result.
most of stans designs where steel core and laminated.... most people are trying very small wire, i do not think that is correct....and do not asume ferrite is some magic inductor maker.
stans VIC was made of steel every picture i every seen.....

@irondmax thanx alot MAX 4 ur freedom fight!!! and about inductor... i have played alot with it and yes i got good results with thicker coil not a thinner one... i think it has to do something with the to and fro motion of the current without polarity reversal...which is possible with bifiliers... and about steel cores!!! they are mostly used in power applications while ferrite are gud for very high freq. apps like RF's etc... so you are rite about both of them. keep up the good work ;)

bifillar passes capacitance as well......its funny when you mention flux and capacitance.....people think of the movie back to the future and the flux capacitor.......while that was a movie.....all circuits have flux and capacitance, and this is what we need to focus on.....
As I understand it there are two control units. One called "ELECTRICAL POLARIZATION PROCESS CONTROL UNIT" and one called "ROTARY PULSE VOLTAGE FREQUENCY CONTROL UNIT". As I see it, it`s you, tonywoodside and outlawstc who have had success with the first unit (8XA) on youtube. Am I right, that the first one is for controlling the varible-plate WFC fuel cell and the second one is for controlling the tubular array water fuel cell? Thanks.
@HHOiseparator the rotary pulse frequency control unit is for driving the alternator.....i have it as well
the electrical polarization process control unit drove the plates or the tube cell....it was the basis for all stans work. pulse and inductors and cell. the tubular array needs to form an LC circuit with the inductor.....electrical resonance. has nothing to do with sound frequency....if you look at meyers tubes......they where not precise.

stans cell size can be found on the web
you can find the pictures of the inductors.............and stan gives the formula to figure the rest, in his papers
however...
the 8Xa i feel was just a demo model....not the finished product
just for the viewing of the people with prying eyes, and not to give away the final secret
