  • Can anybody tell me how to attach the Go Pro to my paintball gun do I need some accessory please HELP!!!!!!!

  • @Hornedpanther88 you can buy a handle bar mount for 15 bucks

  • thanks, this helped me so much

  • Thats a Cool Video

  • where can i buy this camara in the U.S.????

  • @CALI2TEXBOY just buy a regular digital cam and tape it to whatever it is that you want to sticc it too, fucc it ghetto mexicano that hoe.

  • @33ChoppedNScrewedTX lmao! nah wey i want something that will capture high speed in good quality like when i go riding my bike. i got a sony camara but i dosent do good when im hauling ass lol it be looking all blurry in shit smh

  • @CALI2TEXBOY look on ebay. You can get the hd 960 go pro for 164$ shipped *(and thats 2 day air shipping)

  • @thormx47 Omg are you serious? Damn its to late i already got it for $300 at best buy :( But its ok thanks anyway!

  • @CALI2TEXBOY haha yea. I just bought mine today off ebay. And a 16gb sd card for 21$

Did you get the motorsports one?

  • @thormx47 I got the Go Pro be a Hero with the fish eye. But i would like to get a flat lence for it also. hmm. ima go check on ebay for attachments and more accesories for this camara.

  • @CALI2TEXBOY You probably didn't get the GoPro 960, that's only $150 at Best Buy, you probably got the HD Hero2, which is the $300 one.

  • @HPTechHelp yeah its the GoPro HD Hero but i dont remember seeing a 2 anywhere...

  • guys this is 2 years old....

  • How do you adjust the fps in video mode?

  • Good review thanks, but still not sure which one to buy for when I do karting as part of the track is in a tunnel .

  • I have this cam and it is bad ass!! :)

  • i want one so bad my friend uses it on his dirt bike and his dads race car i want to attach it to my tkd sparring gear and make videos

  • eh, for 270$ i think ill get something that doesnt look so cheap.

  • @dudelivestrong yeah you better go buy something that looks expensive and makes crappy images instead of this camera which makes professional quality images and is rock solid.

  • @pcfaber you tell 'em.

  • @dudelivestrong you realize this is 2 years old. The cameras are really durable and definitely worth the money.

  • Is the SD card included?

  • @CruisingTheDisco

    No mate

  • an hd camera guide uploaded on youtube in sd?

    reeeeally lame

  • the 12 people how dislike this dont like extreme sport becuse the dancing !

  • Why can't I just buy the GoPro "naked". Is it cheaper?

  • Ok, so what I understood is that the GoPro in the big package is made for anything, the GoPro car thing is for anything with engines and stuff like bikes ans the last one, GoPro sport is for a little water sports, snow sports and other stuff???

    Could somebody explain?

  • @HoobaHaba The cameras are all the same, the difference is in the mounts. The helmet Hero has the sticky things with straps for no helmet or a vented helmet. The Motorsports Hero has the sticky things with a suction cup for flat surfaces (doesn't hafta be a car, I've seen them on boats and such). Then the Surf Hero is for a surfboard. If you want one, your best bet will be to get the GoPro "Naked" without any mounts, then buy the mounts you want after.

  • Thanks

  • Can u put the suction cup on a helmet

  • @1dcramo

Im sure you can but you dont want to. there are several better helmet attachment bits that comes in the box.

  • duracell ultra

  • these r the old ones

  • how does shuch a cheap looking camera film hd lol

  • are all the cameras waterproof???

  • @WRX125rider yes

  • @WRX125rider No the cmera itself not.

But they have all a housing. This is waterproff.

Filmimng without the housing doesn't make sense.

  • well done

  • looks very cheep

  • @geofferzh79 but they are very good! look some videos from abekislevitz here on youtube and you'll think they're best :D

  • why is this vid not in hd and so small a pic

  • @steviesuperstar Because he's advertising the old Standard Definition Line of Go Pro Cameras.

The Line consist of three models that all record in Hd. The Motorsport Hd Hero with attachments

geared toward Racing Street Cars, Bikes, Formula 1, Nascar, Motocross Ect. The Secong model is

the Surf Hd Hero which comes with attachments geared toward surfing and Snowboarding. And the

last New camera on the new line is the Gopro Hero Hd Naked with no attachments included.

  • i have one for wrist.and it is turning off while i am recording.it turns off fisrt time afte 7 minutes then when i turn it on it agans turns off after 3 minutes.and its all like that.i change baterie i delete everything from the memory.what should i do???please answer???sorry my englishs is litlle bit bad

  • the user interface is not very user friendly

  • how much?

  • i mad a video, but i am having problems downling it to youtube, someone help me out

  • ... they are NOT the smallest camera in the world..

  • Will it come off my board??

  • when I saw this vid, it had an ad at the side: CONTOUR HD

  • thank you so much for all the details...I had so many questions about the gopro cam..and your video was very helpful! thank you!

  • Questions:

    1. whats the maximum sized SD(HC) Card that can be used?

    2. Can one use NiMH Rechargeable AAA's ?

  • @Jay1967 1 the maximum, is 32

2, I would think so, when i picked mine up, last summer, they said i could use rechargables,

BUT! if you are looking into a GoPro i would go for the HD hero, Lithium ion battery, and full 1080p retails for 299$

  • ATC9K is MUCH better!

  • can you take off the base plate pads?

  • heyy i was wonderin why my gopro hd hero sound is lagging behind the footage please help, michael

  • @mike85sx when my audio lagged its because of the laptop I loaded the gopro onto.... I bought a mac and now my audio dont lag anymore, remember its HD so you have to have something good to process it, 2 gig is not alot of HD recording time so get yourself some nice editing software, bigger memory and start uploading.... Oh and you may want a really big external hard drive if you plan on having alot of video!

  • Which one is the best for dirtbiking?

  • do these things work on mac's i movie?

  • @ryanimpreza they should, they probably shoot in .avi or .mpeg so you should be fine. If it shoots in a format that isnt compatible, try finding a converter.

  • I see there are several cameras such as the motorsports, helmet, surf etc. Couldnt you just buy one of the cameras and a whole bunch of different mounts so your one camera would work on everything?

  • is the HD HERO 960 camera any good

  • is the helmet pro waterproof??

  • @sk8skiboard3 All of them are waterproof 60', its the case

  • #LACHFLASH

  • price????

  • @Tribubikingteam 300 bucks , absolutly overpriced.

  • @Daclaem This video is about the old NON-HD one... it's only $99. The waterproof case on the HD is worth $99 by itself. This camera isn't for everybody - it's a specialized application. You don't spend the extra money unless you need the unique features of this camera. For regular stuff, get a Flip.

  • @jasmine2501 well i bought one (HElmet HD) cause i needed a cam for paragliding and snorkeling.

I don ' t say it ' s a bad cam but , paid 349 € is too expensive regarding it's build quality , and pretty terrible ergonomy.

  • @Daclaem Oh that sounds like a ton of fun! You are right though... it does seem like something is missing... like maybe all those mounts and stuff is more expensive than it looks. I got the "Helmet" version too, but I'll be mounting it on an airplane.

  • @jasmine2501 an hey Jasmine did you manage to make some movies from an airplane already ?

I saw your car onboard Gopro vids , they are cool : )

  • @Daclaem Yeah I've been driving around in the mini-van just to get interesting footage to play with. So far I like shooting in 720p at 30fps... the other modes just give me too much data. I haven't put the GoPro on a plane yet, and couldn't fit it under my helicopter either. My old onboard airplane vids are with the Flycam One

  • @jasmine2501 I agree, pretty much anything over 720p 30fps just takes too much space. I do like the options though. I use 1080p when i'm holding the camera for a narrower view angle, and 720p 60fps for slow-motion.

  • this is not a good helmet cam it will break after 2 hours ihave one

  • @Audiboy15 maby urs was defective cause mine is doing just fine. how did u break it?

  • @masterDJ32 i put the batterys that they say to put in but it does not work then i put the ones that its says not to use and it works

  • @Audiboy15 what? mine only came with one battery

  • which one is good gopro for a R/C car and truck

  • It's great,just don't know,where I can find one for myself,I need it very bad :)

  • @romithelopov pepboys auto parts store

  • haha. hmmm OK then i think i will try and convince my dad to buy this for me ;) i just hope it wont break on a straight on collision course with paintball or BB!

  • so this is good for paintball? strong and sturdy enough for it? :P

  • @SuperDwang

    Oh yes!

  • Newbie question: If I have the Gopro mounted on my motorcycle helmet with the faceshield closed down...how does the camera pick up my voice (audio) recording while I am riding?

    Dan

  • Just got a direct phone call from a GoPro rep: they are working on a direct mic link from inside the helmet to the video. As of now the mic will only capture the sounds from outside the helmet. I was advised that I will be able to upgrade my existing devise to the newest software.

    Dan

  • Shout louder.

  • @340PD

Probably but only just - you'll have to either turn the audio to HI or just crank up the sound on your computer.

  • Actually the way to do this is as follows:

Mic youself to a seperate audio recorder.... then delete the audio on the GoPro video clips..... then overlay the recorded audio from the seperate devise to the video clip.........I shudda thunk it.

    Dan

  • It's just an awesome camera, this video help in some questions, now i got it and it's just amazing!, works great in any condition, angle and it's heavy duty!, thank's for the help!!

  • This is a real disappointment in cold weather.

  • I hooked it to my board, my bar, and my kite check it out above "kite loops on a surf board"

  • it must be a different kind. yours is probably HD mine is the regular one that takes triple a batteries.

  • is that all..the go pro camera only takes 2.0gb SD cards...it must be able to take more than that..like a 4 gb.

  • @fligggggggg i just got one for xmass

    i hav a 16gb but u can get a 32gb

  • GoPro say on their website that the original 5Mpx SD camera ONLY takes a 2Gb SD card ... however, you can record on any sized SDHC card (confirmed on a 16Gb Class10) but if the file goes over 2Gb in size, you get an error when you play it and you'll have to rewrite the .avi header ... open the file in VirtualDub, let VD fix the error it detects then save the file again as .avi using "direct stream" in video and audio processing menu ... voila!

  • @GodStink

Isn't it possible to buy 2 SD cars, both 2GB, So when the first card is full, u swap with the other?

    Grtz

  • @oederdekoe

Yes it is, but why bother swapping them? Use a 4Gb card and stop recording before the files get too big or just fix them

  • So you could start filming, when the file becomes 2gb, it errors then u press stop and start filming again?

  • @oederdekoe

Just keep filming then fix later on the PC with VirtualDub.

  • oh k, thx for the responses ;) i'm getting myself one :P

  • Comment removed

  • @oederdekoe:

You can use multiple SD cards with it, but this is an old video. It's not limited to a 2GB card anymore. It'll take up to a 32GB card, which gives you about 4 hours of 1080p HD video - longer than the battery will last.

  • @shadowfaxcrx

    Thx for the answer :D

  • does it record sound??

  • I just tested the go pro hd Kitesurfing check it out sweet

  • Check my page out for onboard footage using the GO Pro camera, road racing an RS125 Honda GP bike. I cant recommend them highly enough, iv used many different cams and this one is the best hands down. Im looking at buying another 2 cams....value 10/10.

  • i have used this twice and its stopped working ! ! ! !

  • did you send it in? im sure its covered

  • its cool now all i had to do was change the memory card

    thanks anyway

  • wich would be best for me...i bodyboard, so there will be waves and it might get like smashed a little bit in the waves, i dont really want it on my board, cause then it will get in the way when im doing tricks...i would rather it on my head, but then it might hit the top of the barrel or something and might get in the way...dont really want wrist one cause i need both hands...& if i want a good helmet they cost more then the camera!!, is ther any other cameras u know about 4 me and recomend??

  • get the GoPro Helmet HERO wide, there is a head strap you can use, you'll get wicked bodyboarding footage and can use it for everything else!

  • u can get a gopro cam that has a chest harness, but ye apparently u can attach it to shoulders and chest then :) and surfers use these so wouldnt worrie about the barrels.

  • Above paddle board, surfing, kiting, karate and playing around. I have been using my go pro wide for everything I shoot. Karate, kiting, surfing, paddle boarding, free diving, it is without a doubt the most versatile camera I love it and its cheap I own 4 with all the attachments

  • does this camera work with vista

  • yes

  • thanks im gonna go get it then

  • I bought one and they are AWESOME, check my vid (onboard road race bike)

Youtube search '' MOTOLITE RACE @ ORAN PARK'' ....excellent camera, best i've used.

  • I can't wait for my order to arrive. Well I just did oredered my motorsports wide. lol.

  • Does it fit at a shotgun barrel?

  • nai mporei kai na xwraei...

    axaxaxxa

  • u could probably get a atachment

  • there is an accessory called the Ride HERO, this will allow you to mount it to your shotgun barrel, the mount is only £20.

  • Above gopro hero 3 skimmers rip it up at Delray

  • DUDE! the suction cup works great! I put it on a golf ball and hit a 302 yards drive ! AHAHAhaaa

  • why NO closed captioned in here video

  • I put the Go Pro hero 3 on the paddle and hit some waist high sets.

  • apparently there is no clock setting on the camera, therefore there is no timestamp on the photos, correct?

  • optie 4 is what you mean i think:P

  • I learned that too as well. Mine always says the video was made Nov. 25, 1961.

  • That's the date when you will DIEEEEE.!!!...(muahahaaa)

  • hey there!! i have a question and i need help on the hero motorsport... the sound is doesnt work.. i try to put in hi and lo but still dont work... any idea why is like that?

  • are you using Vista? this programme has problems with sound, use Windows movie maker or check out some recommendations on the GoPro site, then you'll be rockin!

  • yey i got the wrist hero for bodyboardin and its great! can you get rechargeable batteries for it?

  • yes use energizer rechargables 1000+ Nmah, they are perfect and you get 1-2 hours of recording from them.

  • iz it fisheye on it?

  • the models in this video are not wide angle but the new wide angle models do come with the same mounts.

  • ah.. sweet...

  • EXCELLENT video and explanation. to HIGHDENSITY1, YES you can use a 4 GB card, but you can ONLY make videos up to 53 mins, or multiple videos under that time frame. If you go OVER the time frame (if you try shooting continuous with the 4GB card) all of the files will be CORRUPT. So BE CAREFUL using a 4GB card. Later this Summer a download WILL be available to use the 4 GB CONTINUOUSLY. Till then BE CAREFUL!! Good LUCK!

  • Good video! Can u go beyond 2 GB?

  • Looks good for the money. Does it shoot 16:9 widescreen?

  • doubt it

  • Comment removed

  • can i put a 4g memory card in it?

  • Has anyone taken thiers skydiving?

  • hey im buying a go pro camera next week and they only sell the motorsport one at work will that be able to mount normaly to my motocross helmet? plz let me no :)

  • Comment removed

  • get the Motorsports Wide or Helmet Wide, both have the helmet mounts. have fun!

  • Im thinking about buying the motorsport pro camera to mount on a firetruck for when we're going to calls, especially since the audio is better quality then other cameras we've tried to use

  • The batteries will only last you an hour at the most. And the 2 SD card will only do around 50 minutes. You might be better off getting something with more battery life and longer recording time.

  • why would i need longer? our response time isnt going to be hours long. this is just to record going to calls.

  • Check out the giant squid and Sean kiting on one leg!

  • excellent video guide. Bravo!

  • good vid man

  • Thx for the explanations...

  • ...and I already got my new GoPro..watch my first video in the video response...

  • thank you so much!!!! 5 stars

  • crap ---shop.helmetcameracentral---- internet addy

  • We put one on the bar and one on the helment check out Andy as he goes off

  • I bought the wrist strap but it does not fit the hero Gopro camera whats up with that? I want my $40 bucks back. Now I have to buy the whole wrist modle? Come on........ Check out my video above

  • hey very great video! I opt'd to watch this than the instructions and it was very informative. Thanks!

  • Hey can you tell me why my camera only records and takes pictures in black and white? Thank's

  • hi, must be the program you are using on your PC.

  • hey mate....thanks. needed that. Off to do first test on high speed bikes. will let you know how I get on.Mykel

  • Got my camera back, they fixed my first one .works OK,bit over priced I think.

  • Camera films very well just having trouble getting the sound to work

  • I've clocked up over 25 hours in the surf since January 09 and have had no problems.

Really happy with the results, but you must set it up right before each surf otherwise you get fog on the lens or beads of water on the lens.

  • I am waiting for my third camera. The first developed a rattle after one hr filming, the sec. was faulty , it would not work in low light . I am peed off.

  • Message from GoPro HERO makers!!

We're currently working on a firmware upgrade for the 5mp HERO cameras to support the 4GB SD cards and hope to have it available for download from our website within the next month or so. You can go to our website and sign up for our newsletter to be notified when it is released. Right now the camera is limited to saving a 2GB file, so if using a higher capacity card and you dont stop video recording before 56 minutes (2GB) then all will be lost

    GoPro Support

  • I sent an email asking if i could use a larger SD card and this was the response!!

  • crap crap crap!!! good editing with the surf video oh and the bike video funny I like how the head dont move.

  • Thanks for the intro!

  • Will this take larger SD cards? Like a 8 or 12 GB card so you can record for longer periods of time??
