i remember when alaina got booted: i remembered thinking, ouch, there goes a good one. i think she had the talent to go to top 5-7. too bad about that whole vote thing, alaina has/had the talent to go far but i continue to question parents who let their kids try out at such a young age. i think archuleta would have been even better in 2 years. i just think 16/17 is way too young to put these kids into the music industry. precious few can handle it and aren't wrecked by it.

In the songwriting contest (in which the voting ends this Wednesday) that one song "When You Come From Nothing", the singer sounds a LOT like Alaina, I found that interesting. I really like the song, though I didn't rate it high since it's not a good finale song, especially since I'm hoping for an all male finale. I miss Alaina T_T
