  • I love how the questions are so.............. lame. Mostly because there were children in the audience, right? Asking the questions. Anyway, she has great control over an audience, I love how she speaks about her film. Love her.

  • @jisamhad you are one of the idiot of idiots who dont do other than this kind of statements, and you think you are only one pure like your friends and directly descened from god. its false hood.

  • 10 out of 10 for the movie.

  • Well done Hana, I am also a 19 year old Iranian girl, and i'm very proud of you! Bravo =]

  • Allahu-Akbar!

    All praise the Lord

Buddhism teaches and speaks for the Shay-tan and Atheism.

  • "We all have to die blessedly in order to be able to exist"

    wow.

  • I was watching the film a few weeks ago on bbc2 but did't see all of it because it was on to late and i had to go work the next day. I was a lovely hard hitting movie, would like to see the rest of it.

  • különleges filmbemutató márc. 30-án 19 órakor a Toldi moziban

  • A very powerful film which i watched y-day on BBC4; with subtitles. The story gripped me as its very real, happening now. Congrats to the Director. She richly deserves her awards. The strongest warning message that the film gives to adults and politicians all round the world - that kids imitate and follow what the adults do. What kind of message/future are we leaving fr our kids? Scene where the little girl dies/ pretended to is absolutely tragic and made me cry. This film has deeply affected me.

  • @mlingeshashree true

In the west too often we see the bearded faces of so called insurgents/terrorists/extremists , we forget the dire consequences it has on children , stemming from those adults who believe in practising orthodox Islam ,

  • Afreen Hana jan,

    respect, you made me proud.

I am sure you will achieve much more!

  • great work Hana... you have conveyed a very good and real message through the Film "Buddha collapsed out of shame"...

I was very much touched by it... and l like the role of the girl, that how she is trying to sustain her determination even after a lot of obstacles for her passion of studying...

It brought tears in my eyes... :-)

  • she is very beaty :)

  • thanks alot Hana jon..

  • thanks to english subtitles, i can understand what she said. thank you.

  • No problem. Fortunately there was an interpreter present, otherwise I wouldn't have understood anything either.

  • efreeteh57, i agree with you about the accent. but my family personally knew their family and they really are hardworking. nobody here is saying that you cant have an opinion, but you dont have to put it so strongly.

  • Really! do you mean your family is much more talented? what kind of art they doing( no disrespect) just asking>.

  • this has nothing to do with my family..my family never came on TV and claimed they had any talent! as an individual i am entitled to have an opinion. I just dont think that his kids work as hard as a lot of other directors.he writes their script and hands them his crew. for them its like play time. I respect directors that spent months writing and planning their stories. sorry to have offended you.

  • could you mention some directors that you think are hard working, please.

  • with this comment of yours, you showed how talentless you are, and also how you don't have no taste in movies. I suppose your fav film is Harry Potter or something! get a life!

  • well with your comment you showed that you are a pure natzi and dont think people can have any opinions of their own!people like you are running Iran as we speak!I harry Potter for your information and if you are interested and want to be human give me your email and i will send you a list of films i think are great. we might have more in common than you think. except that i think everyone has an opinion.

  • Peolpes with no talent didnt win first prices at international film festivals

  • PLEASE! she is not a fucking film maker....this family is all about fraud...the dad made a couple of good films (very few) and then started pulling his whole family in to this shit with no experience or talent.and someone please tell her to stop talking farsi with an accent...she only recently left Iran!i

  • Chera say mikone neshun bede farsi balad nist? In ke farsish az manam behtare LOL

  • Well done hana joon, we are proud of you and we are looking forward to see more of you and your precious family that made Iranian history more colourfull.

  • It's so sad and shocking who women human rights are violated around the world.

  • This girl lives in Iran, right? so why does she have an accent and speaks like Iranians kids being raised in English-speaking countries, like the States and Canada??? Is it cool to speak Persian with English-accent??

  • hala chera mikahd ba lahje harf bezane fekr mikoneh khili khoshgel mishe ada dareh khili adam bayad khodesh bashe

  • I really want to watch this film but I don't think any company distributed in America. Does anyone know where I can order DVD? Maybe Canada? Amazon in UK doesn't ship to US?

  • I bought the DVD in Spain. But there are no English subtitles...

  • @wlyu I dont know how and where can you order the DVD. But I can advice you to watch the different parts of the film in youtube.

  • حنا جون اینقدر موقعِ حرف زدن تاب تاب نخور.

بعدشم اینقدر اداهای خارجی درنیار، عادی هم اگه حرف بزنی، بازم با نمک و نازی.

  • brilliant

  • Fitna

  • I agree Griett42.

It's so beatiful and so necessary nowadays.

  • MOB614, it's the title of a beautiful film.

You just have to see it to understand the message.

  • I haven't seen the movie though I intend to but as I can see The Budha reference f sebause in 2001 the Taliban blew up the famous Budha statues that where carved into the stone. "Collapsed out of shame" refers to the brutality of the boys and the way they are treating the girl like the adults do. She jas to suffer because she is a girl. The setting is on the place where those statues where before the Taliban blew them up so it seems as if the statues saw the bruttality and collapsed. Be polite.
