@TheDanivt Land cruisers just arent as good, i mean they might be equal off road, but look at the video on utube of a discovery 3 vs a prado in sand, the disco thrashes it... new land rovers are much more advanced, the interiors and ride quality are in a different class to the toyota... Just keep changning the oil every 6,000 and it wont let you down :) My discovery is 13 years old and no problems :)
@tankxE80 dude your lucky I get roughly 9-11 city and 15 if I'm lucky on highway. I run 93 octane and I kinda drive with a heavy foot. Might explain it.

@tankxE80 Not really i'm in love with the factory look. You should think about switching to HID headlamps it's a great thing to add i have 4300k headlamps and 6000k fogs. At night i can see every thing. plus it looks sweet too.

@mrlandroverdiscovery, brotha I wheeled my rover everywhere when it was bone stock just remove front and rear sway bars to get a solid flex and the rover will do the rest but yes tires are a MUST I fit 265/75s when out a lift so IMO I shouldve when with the BFG 33s A/T

Discoverys are Monsters!!! I got an 03 for about 4 years now, I did the cdl myself, ARB lockers front and rear and 5" lift from Rovertym and she's a trail killer!!!!! And belive it or not she never breake down on me, the only thing I broke once was the front drive shaft and the expancion tank and I was able to fix's right there on the spot... I love my disco, she's a british TANK ..

So now the gloves are off and anything can be Locked Lifted and Geared, I wheel with alot of D1 and D2s and they are all built a lil different some do things that others just cant (right now that is)! IMO if you wanna make a fully built Crawler id go with a D1, If you want a everyday built driver to haul ur fam to the mountains id go with a D2 simply cause there more comfortable and slightly bigger!
@anderson909090 Centre Diff Lock, can use it with TC (Traction Control) or just the CDL, if your HDC, TC and ABS lights are on, trust me, Diff lock works best.
I'm running Laramie trail cutters 265/75 on a 2"OME...that's cool ur disco is the same color it's my favorite color on a D2 which I really never see!!

And if something breaks do what I do upgrade it!!..I have an 04 and from what I hear that's the best yr as far as D2s are concerned the 03 had problems and the 00-02 have no CDL, I've had my D2 for over a yr and I still love it!!

@mchyld32 Yep I'm still lovin my Disco, Ive done a 2"OME, Ive got a Detroit Truetrac in the rear, a heavy duty GBR front driveline, 40series Flowmaster and K&N air filter riding on 265/75s my front diff is going out so ill be putting a Detroit truetrac up front aswell...I would recommend to upgrade your front driveline first because it "WILL"break then just upgrade as needed like i did, Ive only upgraded as i felt i needed to.

Lol

Nope in this video I was open diffs just had a 2" on 265/75s, I even had both front and rear sway bars attached! I've learned alot since then!
