Greensboro, North Carolina based Scientific and Economic Development, Inc. (Sci Eco) confirms its intention to implement a $1B development project in the Piedmont Triad Region of North Carolina. The project consist of a major new town development and satellite, for credit educational complex which is estimated to bring +/- 12,000 non-seasonal full and part-time jobs, at all skill levels in to the region. This project has a heavy focus on education and advanced technology.
No money has actually been spent, and probably won't, but NCA&T could actually benefit with free publicity. After all, we are a top notch Engineering School who lost Ronald E. McNair to the Challenger disaster.
Our first spacecraft name nomination - the NCC-1623 REMcNair, Pathfinder Class.
I happen to be one of the "indoctrinated young people" in this movie and I have no idea how you infer those assertions. What does this have to do with greed or corporatism? It's an obvious waste of tax dollars.
