@lhungryhappysleepy Actually LS engine are nothing like small blocks.. which is why they where giving the name LS.. they are in no way comparable to a SBC or BBC. Ls1 is a 5.7L ls2 are 6.0L Ls3 are 5.3L Ls6 are 6.2L Ls7 are 7.4 L.. LS are different from sbc because the engine is aluminum..

ls motor usually are found in the sporty car.. corvettes, camaros, monte carlos, grand prix.. but they have sister block designs which are LQ which are iron block versions on the ls found in many trucks.. LQ9/LQ4 is a 6.0L iron block

@MRTTOPS You got a couple of your LS's wrong. LS3 is a 6.2 liter and a LS6 is still a 5.7 liter but with better heads and slightly larger cam and a LS7 is a 7 liter.

@MRTTOPS It is in fact iron, but isnt a big block, GMPP even claims it to be a small block. however GMPP does state it has the same BxS as the classic big block but used the LSX bowtie block configuration.
