I was about to buy this game when I saw this vid. It seems this one really sucks. And @Rubicanti comment sucks too. I may respect the work of everyone, but if you're a professional and want to sell your job you have to make a flawless product. Not just because you want to sell, but because you respect your buyer. the .5 sec delay is nothing! after 10 minutes of play you get used to it and do everything a little bit before you would usually do it. Although this game is dogshit topped with catshit

I don't see why they don't program it so the avatar IS the character. Not that it recognises movements but it just moves the avatar mimic-ally. So as soon as you come into contact with a certain body part at certain speeds it'll yield certain results.

Game works just fine for everything when you stand about 8 feet back so it can actually see what the hell your doing instead of standing right up on it. Yeah like anything it's not real but at long enough range it does react faster.
If you are thinking on buying this game then let me tell you as an expieriance of buying and playing it. This game is not as good as it claims, there are many more games which are for the same price as this game but better. E.g: Kinect Sports or Kinect Joy Ride. The reason they are better is this game does not have a good sensor. On this game the command works 5 seconds later and the command is not even right. E.g: Throw a jab and it turns out as a hook kick.
I think it has a lot of potential...but yeah, this isn't ready yet. When they figure out how to do it, it could be bad ass. Who's the chick with the huge jugs?

I would have bought kinect just for dance central itself, but adventures, sports, joy rider, sonic free riders are just as awesome. and this spring it's coming star wars, Michael Jackson experience and more. So it's definitively a great addiction to Xbox 360.

@Rubicanti I rate this game horribly not because of lag but purely it is total crap. It doesn't do what you tell it to do. I have a 360 and PS3 so maybe this game may have been good if I had never played Fight: Lights Out on the PS3. That is true 1:1 movement and fighting. I played this for 5 minutes before turning it off and giving it away to a friend.
@Rubicanti This game is not free. You are paying for it. If people would have paid me for studying, for the effort I put in I would likely be rich now. Do you usually pay for the effort people put in? When you are driving in a car and the engineers put work in it but the brakes don't work and you get seriously hurt, do you care about the effort the engineers put in creating a fast machine when they forget about the brakes?

I tried it and it actually works fine. It has some errors, but if you are in good shape and perform the kicks and punches right, it dosnt make that many mistakes, and you get a great workout while playing.
I would say its 10 times better than what i have tried for WII.
Sigh, the problem with this is the 'feature' of having '70 different moves', what it should do is do exactly what you do, and when you hit the 'person', you hit the 'person', not trigger a preprogrammed move that hits the 'person' :/

I think if you suck fighting in real than playin fightin games on kinect shouldn't be any different, and if your a great fighter in real life than it should be the same on the game cuz you know more moves, These characters does a high kick without the person even liftin his or her leg that high. This game gets a 5 out of 10 (Or am I being too nice? lol) This is just my opinion.

Looks kind of unresponsive...I have Kinect, not bad, but I want a game with full response and unlimited moves based on whatever the player does. I know its tough but that would be great. Probably next year they will have unlimited motion games (turn around etc...) once that happens this thing will be much better than the PS3 Move, but right now it's still fun!
@philt4141 :/ played this game before, the control is VERY unresponsive, when you try to headbutt, you duck o_o, when you try to duck, you kick... the enemy ai is fucking crazy, all he does is dodge your moves and when he attacks, the unresponsiveness is turned against you as you can't dodge or block, sometimes it's just pure luck when you win...
P.S. Being a REAL gamer requires you to NOT be active!!!! So to the people that say that we hate on things like the wii, ps move and kinect, then i say screw you, your not a real gamer

@Rubicanti I rate this game horribly not because of lag but purely it is total crap. It doesn't do what you tell it to do. I have a 360 and PS3 so maybe this game may have been good if I had never played Fight: Lights Out on the PS3. That is true 1:1 movement and fighting. I played this for 5 minutes before turning it off and giving it away to a friend.

@Rubicanti This game is not free. You are paying for it. If people would have paid me for studying, for the effort I put in I would likely be rich now. Do you usually pay for the effort people put in? When you are driving in a car and the engineers put work in it but the brakes don't work and you get seriously hurt, do you care about the effort the engineers put in creating a fast machine when they forget about the brakes?

How dare people criticize a game for its shortcomings! Lagging .5 seconds is a big deal in a fighting game.
By the way, as a female, it's generally not a good idea to degrade your gender. It tends to work against you.

I tried it and it actually works fine. It has some errors, but if you are in good shape and perform the kicks and punches right, it dosnt make that many mistakes, and you get a great workout while playing.
I would say its 10 times better than what i have tried for WII.

Sigh, the problem with this is the 'feature' of having '70 different moves', what it should do is do exactly what you do, and when you hit the 'person', you hit the 'person', not trigger a preprogrammed move that hits the 'person' :/

I have played it, I liked it. for best result, as per kinect manuel, need ro avoid sunlight and proper lighting. It is nice.

i played this and all i did was lift my right foot like 2 inches off the ground to do a low leg sweep and the guy kicked him in the head i was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA lol and if you just keep lifting your legs like your walking the game will persume you are unleashing a combo off badassery upon the CPU lol

I think if you suck fighting in real than playin fightin games on kinect shouldn't be any different, and if your a great fighter in real life than it should be the same on the game cuz you know more moves, These characters does a high kick without the person even liftin his or her leg that high. This game gets a 5 out of 10 (Or am I being too nice? lol) This is just my opinion.

Looks kind of unresponsive...I have Kinect, not bad, but I want a game with full response and unlimited moves based on whatever the player does. I know its tough but that would be great. Probably next year they will have unlimited motion games (turn around etc...) once that happens this thing will be much better than the PS3 Move, but right now it's still fun!

@philt4141 :/ played this game before, the control is VERY unresponsive, when you try to headbutt, you duck o_o, when you try to duck, you kick... the enemy ai is fucking crazy, all he does is dodge your moves and when he attacks, the unresponsiveness is turned against you as you can't dodge or block, sometimes it's just pure luck when you win...

and these people look like fucking zombies playing... i had so much fun playing wii sports boxing with my friend. we would drink and play for an hour every time he came over, you are suppose to act like its a real fight and do quick punches, we would be sweaty as shit after haha, good workout. but the kinect has such slow reaction time i guess you cant do fast punches
