Well, it took some time, there are some great howtos on the net. :)
I used Adobe Illustrator to type and lay out the text, GIMP for twinking with the star background, the Original Star Wars Soundtrack by John Williams which I ripped into mp3 to embed it into After Effects, and Adobe After Effects for the whole animation.

WOW! howd you make that? & Did you do the spacing yourself or do you have an automatic spacer or am i asking the wrong person entirely?
