  • Nice work! LOVE the little detail on the corset and knickers, those little swirls made it look like the real deal :) Good work!

  • hey how long did it take you to make this illustration?

  • ...you're a tag abuser lol

  • so not easy man

  • i think that is the best vidio what i saw here

  • Well in the left leg of the girl has some area that doesn´t look good, it seems a scar, anyway....I just want to ask if in your DVD course tutorials are just like this one, I mean in fast speed and that...

  • What on earth kind of trading card game was your client making? Still, brilliant drawings as always. I wish I could draw like you but I don't have the motivation to put lots of time into practicing and normally, if I draw something its by looking at something else and attempting to copy it to the best of my ability.

  • what are the brushes and brush settings that you use in your video? I'm curiuos

  • good work. one thing that i do what to know is, how do you do your line art? all the lines are so thin and nice, i saw that you use 2B pencil, but how did you get it so that it doesn't look like you use pencils? it looks like you did the lines in Photoshop(meaning how solid the lines are). one last thing, did you create all the brushes you use? oh, and how do you set you document? is it at 150 resolution or 300 resolution?

  • Hey there. Pencils in Corel Painter are very sensitive, which means that you can achieve various types of expressions. To get line arts like mine, use light color and low pressure.

I customized some brushes. However, I do so only when it is neccessary. It's not a requirement to draw well.

Normally I use 300dpi. For this illustration, since the canvas (size of half of a playing card) is too small, 300dpi would be uncomfortable to work with. So I use 600dpi instead.

  • @bigbentree thats incredible stuff. how come it's that small(the canvas)? is this picture for your work(whatever it is you do)? its a really nice piece of work. i really can enjoy the work you do. i appreciate it more too because there aren't alot of anime stuff for corel painter and even though i have 11 and you have 10, i still learn alot from what you do because i pay attention to it. thanks for the feedback and keep up the good work!

  • @PALguy329 thanks! This is a commercial illustration for a trading card game (see "more info" of this video).

Glad that you have learned from it. That gives me more motivation. See you in the next video.

  • @bigbentree Is the trading card game a Japanese game or other? Oh and the subs are a big help too.
