  • People make me sick.

  • süß ein baboon

  • Some of you on here should really mind your own business, if this lady wants to own a monkey and the law allows her to do so, let her do it without your harsh rhetoric. She was nice enough to take the time to post this video for us to watch, so please show her some respect. It's her decision to own and care for this monkey and we should not be telling her what is right or wrong. Enjoy the video and keep your harsh comments to yourself. Thank you.

  • @cgcheyne Thank you for saying this. Youtube is dominated by people who have this puritanical insistance that every relationship between humans and animals is radically natural. There can be configurations of animals and responsible caring people where the animal's interests are satisfied. The same people who criticize would probably raise a stink if a male cat or dog is not neutered because they have a different take on domestic animals. But people must be thoughtful and responsible.

  • @openfifth You're very welcome.

  • @SexayLayD but its okay to neuter a cat or dog? what planet are you on?! These monkeys are not from the wild, and they still get to eat despite not having canines. some people are dumbasses. you do know if that Monkey bit someone it would get put down anyway whether in a zoo or not. please get your facts straight.

  • Olive baboons are usually quite big, only Chakma baboons are bigger....

Good luck, I´d love to have one! :-)

  • Nah she not cruel she did that animal a favor than anything cruel, gave it a home away from the wild or the caged zoo. Id say that monkey is pretty damn lucky

  • Jackie Roberts playing in the back ground at the end haha awesome. Is this here in America or else where ?

  • i want a baboon

  • where the heck do u get monkeys mannnn

  • cute!

  • It should be in the wild.

  • 200 other animals!! Is it a rescue place you own?

A childish question, but were you wearing the rug over your shoulder incase he pooped on you?

  • you should upload another video to see what it looks like now!

  • no matter what you say a wild animal will always be will and thats what i respect about them in there natural habitat

  • I think its cruel having a wild animal as a pet, it doesnt belong in a house... No effence! I love u and ur monkey! Rly cute! Just my opinion

  • @3eqchamps It should be out in the wild, where it gets eaten by a jaguar?

  • Primates are illegal in illinois so im sad i cant get one i have the money time and experience to own one but not even permits can get your one -_-

  • You don't even need to wash your hair anymore. Your Baboon cleans your hair :)

  • Nise little do

  • this reminds me of naiony, :( i miss her

she was the same type of baboon, she was great

  • this reminds me of naiony, :( i miss her

  • What are you going to do with him when he grows huge and his canines are like that of lions? I am interested in how you will house him and care for him, please share how you see his future ending up? thanks for your time.

  • @samanthadewhirst I had his canines removed and I had him neutered when I bought him. He is almost 6 now he wont get too much bigger olive baboons are one of the smallest baboons. He really is a sweet heart I take him outside and he wont run off. He isn't even bad to the other animals. We have a huge cage that he lives in that is in our house, but we will still let him out often.

  • @anlogsdon "Olive baboons are one of the smallest baboons." Er, no --- they are the largest species! If you want to know how big a fully-grown male is, look on some of the Knowsley Safari Park vids. They are also social animals and will need a lot of attention, and your chappie here could live 25+ years. Perhaps you should find him a girlfriend ... I must say it was very cute him grooming you though.

  • @anlogsdon you are pretty cruel.......

  • @IZuWIZme What exactly makes me cruel? I am a trained and experienced animal handler, I work in a zoo and I am going to school for wildlife biology. I plan on working with animals my whole life. I also plan to attend a teaching zoo for the third collage that I will go to, and it will be a hands on training, care, breading, and zoo work. I would like to travel the studying animals in the wild, and I also want to study them in zoo settings. I will work a lot with conservation and many other things

  • @anlogsdon I'd like to to rip out your internal organs and incisors and keep you around MY house like a court jester. You sod.

  • What are you going to do with him when he grows huge and his canines are like that of lions? I am interested in how you will house him and care for him, please share how you see his future ending up? thanks for your time.

  • This is so awesome! I've had a few exotics in the past 5 years (Sugar gliders, Hedgehogs, Coatimundi, Canadian Lynx) But this just seems so different. I can't imagine having this guy full grown still acting this way. Congrats! Also, How much was he?

  • @COLEMANREED666 I started getting exotics 4 years ago. I've had sugar gliders, hedgehogs, coatimundis, chinchillas, guinea pigs, ferrets, cavys, kinkajous, turtles, and my baboon. I bought him 4 years ago and when he sold in auction no one really wanted him because he was a wild baboon so I got him for just 350. Sense I bought him they have always went for much more at that sale. Also he is even more tame now and he is 6.

  • @anlogsdon Wow that is awesome! I've heard primates are terrible and dangerous animals to deal with, but yours is making it look like a Baboon is the perfect pet instead of a Capuchin or something. Haha. I believe it depends on the person as well. I had someone offer me a Hamadryas Baboon for trade when I was selling my Coati, BUT I was only 15 at the time (5 years ago) and did not have much experience with exotics so I couldn't do it. Now that I'm more experienced, I may get one in the future.

  • This baboon is licking his lips, he looks ready for a tasty bug snack from your hair! Unfortunately for him we clean our hair.

  • i live in the us

  • do u live in africa ??

  • and i have 200 other animals

  • @anlogsdon is it legal to have a baboon as pet?i am not judging you, only asking.

  • @anlogsdon 200? sound like an animal hoarder, dont get overwhelmed with that amount

  • Comment removed

  • Did you buy the baboon from a poacher ? Why make that poor thing your pet ? It will never get to fully enjoy life as a baboon in the wild in a fringe .

  • yes i did and that woman had givin that chimp some pills that she shouldn't have

  • Did you not see that Chimp who mauled that woman?

  • I know that babboon isn't full grown, but it could be domesticated?

  • lol yeah

  • Well, it would seem that he's not finding anything while grooming you. That's a good sign

  • the exotic animal auctions all aroud the US prtty much always have them. the one in macon mo always has a few each sale

  • calling a monkey breeder they will give u some info or make a few phone calls but if u want a baboon u better be ready to dedicate alot of time to it

  • baboons are had to come by in the US mostly sold to breeder the best way to get one is search the net or a call up some monkey breeders in the US

  • wow

  • he's 4 1/2 now and he's still great. people always tell me he might get mean, but i don't think he will.
