What lighting did you use for this? Im trying to create my own and when i use a Mental Ray Metal (Brass) material, it appears very poorly lit even with lots of Omni lights. What lighting and render setting should i use?
@chaz129 For lighting i didnt use anything special there just the standard scanline render with a few omni lights above. Took get the look right it really just comes down to how well you make the reflections, in this case i used a hdri map for the environment and a simply raytrace map for the reflections. to add a bit of dirt i put a grungy looking map in the diffuse and thats it. hope that helps
