Has anyone noticed that best part of both songs is the opening chorus. It goes steadily downhill from there. I really wish someone would use that chorus for another song and do it right.

It's the opening notes from Coldplaya's Paradise. Easily, the best part of the song. Wondering where I heard it before.

Yes, "Paradise" evolved from this song but they are two enitrely different tracks at this point. All the better to have 2 cool songs instead of just one.

@ssilvie Well in fact this IS Paradise, but with another sound and other lyrics. The chord scheme is slightly different but you can hear Paradise is written with the same scheme. In fact I like this version much better and Coldplay should have kept this one.

i think coldplay shoulda kept it, its really their style. yeah, hers sounds good, but i think coldplay woulda done it better. as she said "when chris sang it to me, it was so beautiful" blah blah blah, so why didnt he just keep it, as him singing it almost brought her to tears. very generous though.
