This is excellent, and that's not easy for me to say because I have trouble standing NBC5.
What I love about the graphics are the simple icons used for the 2 cities; Reunion Tower for Dallas and the angels on the façade of Bass Performance Hall (home to FW Opera) for Fort Worth.
I agree with you about not being able to stand KXAS. New Year's Day morning (2009), I tuned in to KXAS's 5am just to see what the lead story was. It wasn't the New Year celebrations or anything positive. They instead led with how someone died on New Year's Eve night in a Fort Worth house fire. They didn't tell how it happened; just wanted to let viewers know that somebody died. KXAS, you're pathetic!
It had to be 21 years to hear a Gari pack again in the DFW. The last time was when KDFW (during the arrow-4 days) was a CBS affiliate and they used the classoc Hello pack.
I like Arthouse's NBC Owned and Operated graphics.

It doesn't happen very often, but there have been evenings when it's still blistering late at night.

Luckily, it's not like Phoenix. Here, at 9pm, it is 108 degrees, as shown on this FOX opener for Phoenix... I miss living in Texas.

They still use their "Lone Star Five" logo after all these years?
