@ThazuaBlackarrow Congrats, that's the most pretentious thing I've heard since 2012. You generalizing fuckface. I can appreciate serious, realistic, well-made films, and I can appreciate fun, sexy, gory films. Don't criticize and get pissy with me because I can appreciate both aspects of film, while you can't. Fuck off.
You do realize that 45 grave was an 80's band so this song has to do with the original NOTD not a cheap remake. Also their music is almost impossible to find other than their first two albums which have the song "Party Time" from ROTLD.
Could justbe my shitty connections on this computer, but this damn volume dosen't get loud enough at all. Good song. And yeah guys, horror films have gone down the fucking toilet the last few years, made by little preppy college kids who should never be let near cameras. I stopped buying them altogether. I think the last one I got that was worth a damn was the remake of "I spit on your grave" and that wasn't even that good.
This song goes will in Night of the demons! just got done watching it...WAAAY better then the 1988's version..but there could have been more blood..and the demons could have looked better.
@MetalJoeBelladonna Ya the acting sucked, but it had some good parts, like when the blood is washing their protection away, and when the hands are trying to stop them...and when the demon said that they have ways to get them out of the room...other than that..ya I have to agree with ya.
@realghost164 well of course you'd think the newer version is better - You're 17 years old and most kids your age can't appreciate anything that predates present day more than 5 years.
I love the remake, but the original had alot of charm that the remake couldn't replicate
@Antnj81 Do you know how pretentious you sound? I'm almost 20. I'm a huge fan of horror movies. I enjoyed the remake, and I haven't seen the original. I'll probably like the remake more though. Why? Many reasons. From what I've seen... the girls are more attractive and the demons are scarier. I'm 19 years old. I've seen a lot of fucked up shit, and I'm desenitized. Horror movies from the 70s, 80s, and 90s are children horror movies to me. I need more gore, scare, and babes to be interested.
@GrockJake ok, the fact that you would even bother to speculate that you'd like it better with a proposed list of reasons based on the underline "modern day everything is just better than anything old" mentality reaffirms my initial point.
who cares what's scary or not? To me, movies aren't ever truly scary, but at least old movies offer humor and other things to keep you interested. How about just enjoying the entertainment value of the movie instead of critiquing or demanding it to be scary?
@Antnj81 Hold on a second... let me get this straight... you're asking me why should I demand that a horror movie be scary? I'm obviously dealing with a retard. Seriously, I mean no offense to you, but what you just said is ridiculously stupid. If you want humor or other things to keep you interested... watch that genre. Want humor? Watch a comedy! I haven't been scared by a horror movie for quite some time, but that doesn't keep me from seeking the holy grail of horror.
@GrockJake ok you clearly are looking at things through one-dimensional goggles. Since I can't use the sock puppets to illustrate my point, I'll use this example: It's like people that say they like hot or spicy food, USUALLY they don't just want the hot or spicy part. If you've ever eaten a habanero pepper, it's fucking hot with NO actual flavor and it's not very enjoyable. People want entertainment when they watch a movie. That's why older horror movies are classics & included comedic moments
@GrockJake if you want a scary movie to actually be scary, then you will forever be disappointed because you clearly sound jaded and pretentious when it comes to what you're asking. I'll take a comedic horror movies that has me engaged over some over some contrived bullshit script by some over confident writer that think he's gonna be the next stephen king. Because the fact is, when most of those movies come up short in the scare category, you have nothing left to give a shit about in the films

@Antnj81 You are correct.Hammer horror is something you should check out Antnj81.It's vintage, but they have all the things you said you like.Blood, gore, and babes
