The truth is, stuff like this happens usually because the store is understaffed. If there were more clerks, he wouldn't have to wait because of the sampling lady.  Having said that, given the lack of staff Larry was right.

Wow, Larry was actually wrong here. He was right with the lady abusing the ice cream sampling privileges, but with perfume or cologne there's nothing wrong with sampling as many as it takes you to find the right one.

The thing about Larry's character is that he says the unspoken. He speaks reason, but acts upon things that usually would be best kept quiet. Though actually in this case I think plenty of people would be behind this, infact I cannot believe his wife wasn't, sounds like his wife is living on a different planet.
