G'day! I have they older 'Tama Superstar Drums' in wine red which Sound Amazing! As you may know. Just a camera microphone, does not do 'Tama Artstar Drums' Justice. Cheers!
I was wondering why you had your beaters sooo far back then I realized you must have to have a ton of power to get it to move through that hallway kick
Not bad at all. Been done many times. I play clubs/stages big enough for the kick. If i were to play small bars,I would bring an entirely different kit. Thanks for your input though.
first, i cracked up when i saw this it just looks funny! (the kick) but my main concern is way would you put a thick heavy blankie in it? i see no point in have it if you d o not run it clean? hell no bass drum should have any thing in it.....sorry but it's a fact!
A blankie? That actually made ME laugh a bit. No where on this clip did I say there was a blankie in the kick. There are 2 small 6"x12" pillows in eack kick.Just enough to mellow the kick a bit. I agree about letting a drum sing, just not a 36" kick.
@XxStrongDrums1996xX LOL! how many tours have you been on? how many stage's have you played on? how many records have you recorded bro? :-) you seem to know a lot?
@Fusionfreakdrummer You make no sense. I was referring to your comment that said "No bass drum should have anything in it" which is not true. I personally don't muffle my bass drum, but if you want that heavy, dry thud, then muffling the bass drum is definitely the way to go.
@Drumkill1220 No way? Lol, I use the exact same drum but in the titanium fade. Nice. I'll have to try some new heads and wires. Yours just gets a little more pop than mine.
this would be so much more beautiful if the lugs didnt extend across the whole shell, kinda gives it that cheap rockstar style look, but still looks beautiful!
Great chops buddy! Damn cool kit.. Always loved that finish for the Artstars too, if I didn´t have my Titanium silver kit I´d definately want that green finish!
Nice kit...but it looks like you have 2 bassdrums put together to make it 36 inches long. I have a Bass Drum that is 36 inches long all by itself and 24 inches round.
diggin the set up dude.

I like the idea of putting two bass drums together, having one without a head. I wonder what it sounds like?
