I have fainted on occasions not a wedding but its not fun so be nice at least.

I think this also has alot to do with nerves as well. I recall when my sister got married for a good year or so that was the discussion it was always the wedding. I guess when the most important day of your life arrives your brain gets overloaded and down you go.

Good for you on taking such a positive stance on everything! Most people who faint at weddings feel as though all of the eyes are on them and this can create extreme discomfort. As you grow, you'll realize that everyone is in their own heads most of the time anyway. Just know that you are not alone and don't let this define too much of who you are! Best of luck!

Lol i know exactly how you feel ive had that feeling happen to me 3 times now its horrible. You cant see anyything at all but just hear voices around you. Its quite scary. Ive never actually passed out before but ive had the blackout and swaying like you did!

Fainting is normal, though unpleasant... And funny (unfortunately). I ALMOST fainted at my relative's wedding too, i was a bridesmaid, 10 years old back then... Imagine having to stand through that whole ceremony inside the church, which has no ventillation, on a hot summer's day, in a longsleeve dress... I have a fear of weddings at churches, and a fear of fainting since then :D well, at least nobody noticed i was not feeling fine...

i dont blame u for passing out. when you are in a wedding you have to stand through the whole thing, unlike the guest you can sit. and when the rev starts reading and talking about the beauty of marriage and all that he tends to ramble and ramble, and hell you get tired, your legs get tired. happened to me too at my mother's friend's wedding but my face hit pavement. lol

You poor thing! How cume u didn't fall? I can feel ur pain. I once passed out in health class, and when I got up, everyone wuz looking at me. I asked my health teacher where i wuz, I waz like in shock or something and didn't know where I was, he told me that I wuz at school in health class. I told him that I felt like I was gonna pass out again, but I just fell over, but he stopped my fall. I wuz sitting up when I woke up. Then, he sat there with me and told me to sit up and take deep breaths.

OMG, I did that in health, too! They brought in a real placenta. It was still bloody, and I just got dizzy and fainted. It was so embarrassing, because people were totally just staring at me and laughing. They said that I hit my head on the desk, and then rolled onto the floor.
