@johnjohnb13 Well I've been surfing since 7 yrs old i'm 16 now, can u please chill out i just wanna know how a sub scorcher board rides. By the way don't go around saying stuff over the computer, man up and tell it to peoples faces.
Hey i was wondering if a lost sub scorcher would be good for me if i'm looking to do loose snaps, cutbacks, reverses, and airs, i'm 5'11 135 pounds and what size would be good?
Merrick has soooo many good looking boards now thanks to Kelly and Dave. Problem is that they are not epoxy AFAIK. With how expensive these boards are they must be epoxy! Al please start making them all epoxy! And they ALL need to have 5 fin boxes! I would love to start riding Merricks but unless the above is done I will not and I'm sure I'm not alone.
i shaped my own version of one of these and it works magical, i would want the real merrick version but i aint got 600 bucks. and shaping is way more fun
im getting one today cant wait

i normally ride a 6'2. i'm 178cm and 65kg and i ride a 5'7 1/2 dumpster diver. Most fun i've had in the surf. especially in poor conditions.

Worst review ever. Basically word for word from the website. Maybe try riding the board and then reviewing it.

@Ciscojaws
If you listen veeeery clooosely, he says he does'nt have much info on it.
I saw him and his crew surfing it on a good swell and they where kiling it!
He was pretty much speaking to the average consumer. Dont let it piss you off

support your local shaper. stop buying $700 merricks.

@xt3dleex I agree to an extent, I have supported many local shapers, but Merrick does make the best boards i've personally ever ridden.
