i like both, but i prefer the old IKTPQ, they sounded alot more like can actual hardcore band, Music for the recently deceased sounded more like a metal album instead of hardcore, because once it has guitar solos it isn't in the hardcore genre anymore, while crafter put alot more work into the band, butcher did have good vocal talents
It's awesome to hear Crafter singing on these songs that he originally did. However, Butcher definitely fit the sound of the music better than Crafter does. However, at least Crafter sounds like himself during live shows. Butcher would literally butcher the songs during a live show. When I saw them in Vegas, he did so much annoying squealing. It made no sense since he did none on MFTRD.
well i dont think crafter sucks, but i also like eds version more, he reminds me a little of mikael stanne from DT :P crafter sound more like the averange metalcore singer...
btw, lifting your right hand without making a fist isnt good :D (look at the left side of the picture)
You can't really compare Ed to Crafter because they both bring a great sound to the band. Ed gave it more of a death/metalcore sound, while Crafter made it a hardcore/metalcore sound. Both vocalists are amazing, but it all boils down to which sound you prefer.
IKTPQ were never "hardcore", just metalcore. Even their old stuff sounds nothing like anything that even resembles hardcore.

@JBVultures actually their old stuff is hardcore, the album music for the recently deceased was the only album that could be classed as metal
