  • im not against cops, but I dont understand why they make such a big deal out of getting filmed. But what I dont understand is how peopl let a few bad cops let all cops get a bad name. Every proffession has assholes in it, im sure if you looked around your work you could point out a few. Public official or any other proffesion is not excluded.

  • Those people complaining about filming police should google "Kelly Thomas California"

would a camera have saved his life?

  • ha ha

"are we being detained?" Response: no

guy walks around a corner, continues filming

  • They motorcycle police made you look like a full, they get a big chuckle out of you people no doubt. You need to try to get a job so that you can buy some proper clothing also you look like a crack addict running around the streets. No wonder everyone in that particular area mistrust your behavior.

  • @MrJack65721 did you notice ever that cops record from their dash cams at all times?

have you ever seen footage of a man being beaten by police?

you can jerk off any cop you like but without an equipped citizenry people will and do lose their civil liberties

this country separated from the British empire in order to create a land where the government's ability to encroach on a person's civil liberties. Without vigilant protection those liberties can be taken away.

  • if ur gonna record then keep ur mouth shut n stay outta the way. nowur just hindering n interfering with law enforcement duties. smh

  • @qgoseyun the police initiated the conversation...

little detail there but maybe you didn't pick up on it because one of the men was wearing a badge. It is hard sometimes to see beyond that badge sometimes and recognize that behind it is a man who is as corruptible as any other man

  • @tmoallen. You should be embarrassed of yourself. Just because one has formed an opinion, as you state, that has nothing to do with an act of being bias....they're two completely different things. Your statement is, however based on ignorance. Do yourself a favor, before typing something on the Internet, before you make yourself out to be a total fool, use your head. I don't know if you're a complete idiot, but your foolish reply doesn't start you off on a good note

  • they gave ID when the camera shut off between 5 and 6 minutes

  • Put a shirt on you low life scum sucking turd! all you do is look for someone to give you attention and think your smarter than the cops and doing everyone a favor for being stupid...your holding everyone accountable but yourself asshole! Anytime you want to go the rounds boy let me know...yes it was nice and you can go fuck yourself dick head libs!

  • great good keep up the good work punk ass cops think they own the world fukn losers, they hated to be recorded if you doing things by the books then shouldn't matter if someone records you:-)

  • @revgibmodeniro This is the "straw man argument." You make a weak, easy target as your enemy, then knock it down. You make the cops out to be "punks," thugs in uniform looking to jam you up illegally and against your rights. Then, you see the camera as a tool of power for a free people, burdened by overbearing law enforcement.

Fortunately, it's all bullshit. Many police vehicles come with cameras built-in by the department -- by the police themselves. It's there to prevent false accusations.

  • @libertyontour- you would have been better citizens by providing the troopers with your personal information. Your video documentation should be available for both the motorist as well as the officers. What you chose not to acknowledge is that motorists also lie and file false complaints. Your videos could correct such an error, if one would have happened in this case. However you seem to be bias and appear anti-police, so your views are skewed and therefore, irrelevant. BTW, thanks for visitin

  • @classyvegas Biased views are irrelevant? It sounds like you have an opinion, and therefore a bias. I to hate to inform you but by your own standard your comment and any other opinions you may hold are irrelevant.

  • I have to remember that. To get rid of assholes like you is to ask for a ID. The police won.

    Yaaaaaa!!!!

  • Get a life! What a bunch of fucking losers! "Stealing their money" Seriously? Like people don't have the right to contest the ticket in court? It's their right and hardly nobody does it.

  • People, wake up and smell the vaginal ooze coming off these guys. They video "for equality for everyone" but when the police ask for their NAMES to be subpoenaed IF THEY need the video, the "Copblockers" run like the chickenshits they are! They are only there to harass the police doing their job.

  • you guys are dicks.

  • Yeah you guys better run, you fuckin chicken shit. If you're going to start shit with the police, expect them to ask for ID. If you have the balls to videotape officers, you should have the balls to hand over your ID and not give a shit. You fuckin puss-bitch.

  • MY GOD GET A LIFE MAN!

  • Too much time on your hands man. You're in Vegas. Go gamble, drink a beer and pay for some hookers.

  • Wow... You guys r like superman. Cop just enforce laws that are set by people you vote for fool.

  • @tonydaman100 your clearly an idiot. The idea is that the cops enforce the laws that are set by people we vote for, however that is not always the case. Cops sometimes don't even really know the law. watch all the other videos of cops getting stuff wrong. Do your research before you call someone a fool.

  • wow you guys are so awesome! (sarcasm)

  • Who is holding "Cop block" accountable?

  • @BLJO5050 Their camera... duh...

  • @palescale whatevever you say moron

  • @BLJO5050 Says the sheep...

  • copblock...what a bunch of morons.

  • @BLJO5050 Says the sheep.

  • American cops are the scum of the earth. Whenever I read about cops getting killed, I figure they must have deserved it.

  • Get a real job and them do there's!!!!

  • god troopers are the worst. I live in upstate ny by Syracuse, and the NYSP think they are gods. Look up the video called kiryas joel arrest and you will see what I am talking about

  • You guys are my heroes!

  • if there was only one guy with one camera..they'd take it and shove it up your ass.and deny anything illegal..i've seen it before..having multiple people and multple cameras makes a difference if not those cops wouldnt have let that go down..and wtf do they have to hide?I CAN NOT BE VIDEO TAPED!!!? omg stop being cry baby tough guy officers

  • dude stfu ur fucking stupid asshole, eat shit and die

  • I live in Vegas haha metro officers don't like being filmed lol

  • I guess you all showed me, you're right, we have a secret "ninja" police that can't ask for ID. Hmmm, then why did the supreme court Rule that police can ask for ID during an investigation and why do 99% of patrol cars have cameras that record everything in front of the police car without bias? You sure friggin got me alright

  • 2:30 You never have to show ID. There is no law that says you even have to carry ID.

  • @FactChecking101 While you are correct, you might be misleading people.

During a lawful stop, you are required to identify yourself. See Terry v Ohio and Hiibel v Sixth Judicial District Court of Nevada.

  • @FoxeoGames You never have to show ID. You are not even legally required to carry ID.

  • @FactChecking101 Carrying ID is not the same as "identify yourself." During a lawful stop (Terry Stop, see Terry v Ohio), you are required to identify yourself. You are correct about suspicion of a crime.

Some people are legally required to carry ID -- this mainly applies to sex offenders, and some other various felonies making an ID required if they are away from home and still on parole/probation.

  • @FoxeoGames Fair enough but it needs to be clear that you do NOT have to provide your name unless you are being detained under suspicion of a crime or about to commit a crime. Of course if your driving or in a bar where other laws apply the ID or License requirement changes.

  • @FactChecking101 Private establishments can require ID as part of the verbal business contract, but that's not a legal matter unless they allow minors access to things prohibited by law. You can always just choose not to drink or to leave the business.

If you're driving and being asked for an ID, you are most likely already stopped for a violation (crime). Some states allow certain law enforcement to stop a vehicle merely to check for a valid license. I cannot do that, however.

  • @FoxeoGames No, you do not have to identify yourself UNLESS the police have a reasonable suspicion you were involved in a crime. If they ask your name, simply reply with "am I free to go". If they reply yes, you don't have to give a name. If they reply no, they suspect you of a crime.

  • 2:35 about being detained is a really good thing to remember if you ever find yourself in a situation where you feel like you are being intimidated and want to leave. Don't be a jerk about it, but remember that (I think this is true) if they say you are not being detained, you can leave.

  • Q. "Why are you taping us?"

    A. "Rodney King"

    Conversation over

  • Just to make sure you don't kick the shit out of someone.

  • Hahahahaahahahhaha

  • Why do ALL police have a superiority complex? Is it like some kind of prerequisite in order to enter the force you have to be an idiotic monkey?

  • I agree never answer questions to police - Silent But Lawfull is the best policy!!!

  • I applaud your efforts.

I do think that you allowed them to engage you in conversation too much, and you spoke too much.

By asking you all the questions, they controlled the conversation -- you should ask them the questions, or remain silent.

Again, I think you guys are awesome, and very brave to do this, but I just thought I'd offer a little constructive criticism

I LOVE the part where you didn't give your name or ID, and you asked if you were being detained:

    "No!"

    ::walk::

    POWNED!

  • Are we being detained?

    No

    Peace out homie!

  • You folks really think that is bad to have a fair third party view of what happens during a traffic stop.....then none of you have ever been railroaded by the police or government....as we all know there are no bad cops in this world and our government never lies. And as for running away you have to fight the battles you can win.

  • @joecoool100 I dont think its bad to have an objective third party view for all sides. When the cop asked for his name in case the tape needed to be used in court, the cameraman began to crawfish which is not "transparency for all". I call Bullshit to your arguement. Second, if your right, you win the batte period. He ran because he was wrong to begin with and his reason for filming was Bullshit. They are publicity and money seekers, thats it!!!!! Publicity/Donation seekers!!!!

  • @macoflaf Ok fair enough......now listen to this.....show me one time in world history, in anyone's history where tyranny was ever celebrated. The answer is never. History takes a very dim view or tyranny.....you make sure that you are on the right side of history.....now "call bullshit" on that.....Im waiting.........

  • @joecoool100 Do you want your "tyranny" as you call it from people sworn to uphold the laws of our country or do you want true tyranny from the criminals and scum that dont get along with people, steal, lie, rape and cheat and a cop doesnt want to do the job anymore! Because you may not like how a law enforcement officer isnt as polite as you like, or doesnt like the fact that some people want to shove camera's in his face while he's trying to do his job doesnt mean he's tyrannical my friend.

  • @macoflaf2 Right, so our cops have this "super secret" right to not be filmed while they are conducting the "super secret ninjia" activities. Cameras...cameras everywhere.but dont you dare point one at a cop. If you want your police to operate in secret go ahead...but let me say this...You sir are mocking history right now, and history is a fickel maiden. She has a hard lesson for all of us...History will not be Mocked. There have always been criminals..but secret police, is new and tyrannical

  • Thechester it just proves who the better persons are. Cops would help them out even after this, whereas would the reverse be found to be true? They think cops are afraid of cameras yet 99% of their police units already have them and use them for complete transparency.

  • Well done guys, you just proved that "copblock" is not putting equality for everyone. When the cop asked you for ID so he could subpoena you to court with the film, you ran away like a coward. I thought it was so "EVERYONE" could be fair? Also, its not a "shakedown" its called breaking the law and being issued a citation. How fucking stupid are you people? You claim to be one thing and when a cop outsmarts you, you run. All of you are losers and cowards!!!!!!

  • @macoflaf2 lol seriously. these are the same cowards that would cry to 911 the second they feel the least bit threatened. there should be a rule that if you don't agree with cops then criminals are allowed to have free reign on your person/property.

  • @hannahdad

I never said it was illegal to record cops, I said it is illegal to draw their attention away from their investigation.

Once you become involved and hinder or block or cause any kind of nuisance from an investigation you are now breaking the law.

I'm all for people videotaping/recording but keep in mind the laws and the thin line you walk for doing it.

  • @xtouristx I couldnt agree more with your statement. If you want to film at a distance that doesnt distract either parties, the cops and the people being cited, thats fine. But when you get to a point where you are taking the officers attention from the immediate scene, or causing people in the car to become agitated, violent, or putting on a scene, thats when you violate the law clearly. There is a reason states enacted the interfering with the duties of a police officer. Its dangerous!!!

  • dur de dur we are copblock....duuuuhhhhh.....we believe all cops and laws are bad

  • lol, are we being detained. then he walks away. lol. After the cops ask for ID, ask them for their names and badge numbers.

  • i like how the douche wipe had to show off his lame ass tattoos in the begining of the video

  • i like how the douche wipe had to show off his lame ass tattoos in the beginig of the video

  • And FYI those of you that decide to break out cameras and draw police attention away from their investigation, it is illegal. So be mindful of that if you end up in handcuffs.

Oh and by getting involved in the situation you are subject to subpoena by the court in case you think you can just spend your days taping away.

  • @xtouristx At the end of August 2011 the First Circuit Court of Appeals announced it's ruling that it is NOT illegal to video/audio public servants (ie cops) during the per formance of their duties. This can be done in all public places and where privacey cannot be expected. If you are a cop, or are friendly with law enforcement; be advised. There will be more and more cameras doing the same as the cops do.Video taping for protection against injustice. Seems fair doesn't it?? Have a good day!!

  • Morons!

Traffic citations are real shake downs, when someone is speeding, or illegally changes lanes, or cuts someone off. I think these idiots forgot what it is that law ENFORCEMENT personal do.

Thumbs up for the NHP troopers and their professionalism.

  • You see, the thing is that people will dislike this video, certainly these cops may not be some of the corrupt ones HOWEVER they made one extremely important mistake during this traffic stop.

They pulled all of their attention to someone just simply filming them and whom is doing nothing what so ever, instead of keeping an eye on the person they just pulled over who could have had a gun or drugs and was stashing it away because these two ding dongs are too worried about 2 guy's filming.

  • your an idiot

  • @notagrd is "you're" idiot.

  • @greenland360 good one, 'bout as original as your faggoty ass campaign of 'accountability'. stik your litl camera in drug dealers face, then its 'officer, officer help!

  • get a life dude

  • It WAS actually really nice that he stopped traffic though. Good video too, btw. I live in Vegas, and would love to get together for more copblocking. Let me know! I have 2 Video cams and can get more.

  • are we being detained? cop: no .. oh ok ::walks away:: .. lolol love it

  • Bush snr, Clinton, Bush and Obama, Puppets of the NWO have completely fucked America. When Obama falls they all fall. We are change people.

  • These are not real cops they are government hired revenue raisers and civilian head fuckers. They dont like being filmed because the idiots have something to hide, its the mentality of all these dickhead police, they have so much to hide, they are depressed unhappy clowns and the only thing that gets them through the day is their ego trips and giving civilians the shits.Cops with nothing to hide, Real Police Officers, dont fear cameras, Criminals on the other hand, may very well.

  • They broke the law they arn't being robbed they have to pay a fine. And how about you guys get a job or find something to do during the day

  • ahaha you dumbasses got schooled!

  • Dilsmk and voodoo....thank you and I say the same!

  • "Are we being detained?" -"No" -"Ok" walks away.

    Fucking great.

  • These guys= illegitimate blow by.

  • You guys are hilarious. Leave it to a couple of weak, uneducated, and disrespectful idiots to convince themselves that they are doing something good for the community. There are a lot more police officers out there doing the right thing than you have videos. If you want to do something positive for society, why don't you go get your GED, put yourself through college, and start contributing. It's pretty ironic that these men and women make their personal sacrifices for assholes like you.

  • @dilsmk A good cop with nothing to hide would just carry on with their job understanding fully that no law is being broken and that anyone anytime has the right to film public officials in a public setting.I hope you get shaken down by a bad cop when there is no one to tape it for you moron.Personally i would thank these guys for taping me when I get pulled over because it keeps the cops honest and makes them stick to proper procedure.Do you get it now.If not don't bother trying arguing with me.

  • I agree with voodoopolitico. You have nothing better to do than waste youre time looking for some officer to take the bait. That's what happens when too much bong resin accumulates in your brain.

  • They always put the really fat ones on motorcycles.

  • I UNDERSTAND that cops need to be held accountable. I UNDERSTAND that we the citizens do and SHOULD have the freedom to film ANY govt officials while they are working in public while on the tax payer dime. But lets face it, YOU guys are BAITING the cops. YOU guys WANT to have some asshole cop overreact just so you can get it on tape. Thats all you are doing. Calling what you do "COP BLOCK" itself seems to say that you are either baiting or interfering in what they are doing.

  • COPBLOCKED!!!! HAHAHAHA

    AWESOME!!!

"Are you detaining us?" "No" "Ok bye!" ILMAO

Those swines didn't know what hit them!

  • I am a large supporter of your right to free speech. I am willing to give my life for it. I also have the honor of knowing the officer in this video. I think if you are trying to provide an unbias documentation of things why you wouldn't give the officer your info so he could use you in court. I mean it's hypocritical to be keeping everyone honest and only supporting one side. If you really want to be great be unbias. It might suck if don't agree but at least you have your integrity!

  • @yankeeairpirate921 Thank you for being one of the few people who are actually intelligent enough to comment with what you did instead of another oblivious anarchist trying to join a hate club.

  • would be grateful for you filming, i am school to be a cop have many cop friends and when i get stop i have no problem talking to them if i saw you i would be like why the hell are you recodeing me you guys really need to get a life.

  • wow what i double standered we will help the driver but not the cops. You say you dont have problems with with the cops but by that statment you prove that you just dont like cops no matter what. Next by filming you were wittneses to this stop the cop legaly did have the right to ask for your name for subpoena reasons. I am not sayin you cant video record i agree you can but that does not mean that the cops still cant subpoena what you have filmed. Next you assume much to think that people

  • @ddrhazy That's funny. I bet you dollars to doughnuts these guys wouldn't know how to do that, let alone know about using search strings to look for stuff online. I had to teach our local law enforcement how to download videos from You Tube and other video sharing sites so they could use them in gathering evidence.

  • Turnabout is fairplay...if you're gonna film police in action with the thought of making the video available to the person pulled over to be used against the police, then you should also make it available for the police to use to back up their case in court...unless you guys are just anti-police pot smoking Ron Paul Supporters, eh?

  • @ThunderPigBlog The cops could come on youtube and obtain the video here. It's not hard at all.

  • @ThunderPigBlog I think if someone in that car shot the officer in the head when he came close to the window, Im sure those guys would have came forward with the video evidence to help catch the criminal. If the cops didn't act like little school girls when ever there filmed, these guys wouldn't even bother filming. These guys no you don't like it and thats why they do it...... The more upset the cops get the more they enjoy it.

  • that one stupid big, almost makes me want to stop being a vegetarian.

  • @anarchowolfmusic oops, I mean pig.

  • Kudos guys. It takes courage to do what you do. I love what you do but for those who disagree let's see your efforts to make the world a better, safer place. Then we can talk about which tactics are better or worse.

  • I think you are a douche bag. doing a traffic stop is a very dangerous scenario even in the day time and fortunately NHP had to put up with idiots like you. Those vehicles they had stopped for a legitimate traffic infraction now had to wait around for 20 some odd minutes while you were taking up the Officer's time and jeopardizing their safety. Congratulations you now f*cked over the citizen you were saying you were trying to help. Good Job. Way to go and get a life.

  • @creamycaesar11 LOT didn't interfere in any way. If people film those cops all the time, why make a big deal out of this one? That was their choice and LOT dispatched their questions as fast as they could.

  • @creamycaesar11 first of all, the vegas PD are some of the dumbest and some to keep watch on (note the pigs intrusion and arrests at food not bombs in the past), second of all if the cops deal with it, like they said they did, often enough to note it, then they would not have had to ask all those questions, and lastly they had the logic of a toddlers, you sir, just defended morons, grats.

  • what kind of fag goes to vegas to film cops?

  • @zapazoid what kind of waste of breath uses the word fag?

  • Next time they're taking pictures and you happen to have your shirts off... tweak your nipples & lick your lips....

  • You should have said "I film cops since cops are professional liars and I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. . . . which probably wouldn't be far in your case since you seem to love your doughnuts!" That cop wouldn't have been perfect to make look like a babbling idiot on film. You guys are getting really jumpy. If you are that jumpy, then maybe you need to hang it up for a while?

  • cops are too fat these days

  • LAWL

    COP: Can I see ID?

    Adam: Am I being detained?

    COP: No.

Adam walks away leaving the COP to ask himself WTF?
