Beautiful. I went there 4 years ago, and drank the water straight from the lake. Wonderful life giving water. And the tone of blue is quite surreal. A gem of Afghanistan.
People of Bameian can do so many things with the lake. 1. Export bottled water 2. Tourist destination for local, national and international. 3. Reserve it for wild life. I think the last and the first option will go together.
