I have fraps, but the size of the video that produced seems quite large, 6mins for about 2gb...how can i reduce the size of it?

You are probably using the ''Full-size''. Go to Fraps ''Movies'' setting and change it to ''Half-size'' ;)

Half-size works well, 10 minute long video is about 2 gb, or less. It depends on what kind of game your recording. You can record very old games about 30 minutes and only get 3gb, or less ;D

Okay so from the part 23 oblivion comment you know I am new to this. So how do you start recording? Do you just start it up then play and how do you end it? And when you go to the movie maker, how do you extend it and is it we save the video after that?

Go to your Fraps settings and you'll see that ''Video Capture Hotkey'', you can select any button that activates the recording. Go to your game and just click the hotkey, then it records. When you want to stop recording just click the hotkey again -_^

Not quite sure what you mean by extending, but you can drag the video to any length you can.

hey tolkki my fraps splits my videos sometimes automatically when im making videos. like sometimes it just stops recording after 2 minutes and makes another file or sometimes it stops at 5 minutes and it doesnt it every now and then. is it suppose to do that? or did i do something to my fraps options or something. o.o

My Fraps always record something like 8-9 minutes in one file. But when I used the full screen, it only recorded like 3-5 minutes. So I have a feeling your using that. Change it to half screen.

@agentfjols I belive that when Youtube was a new site back then in the internet. You were able to upload longer videos. If you were a Director back then. But now the youtube has taken it off, and now you can only upload just 10 minute length videos. But those who were Directors back then, and still now, can upload over the 10 minute limit.

@firezilla1 That's because your using Fraps trial. That can only record 30 seconds. You'll need to buy a whole new fraps.

you need full version of fraps you can get it for free if you just goole it free full fraps download remeber to watch out for viruses and its illegal but also remember the time the goverment took your money i know fraps isnt goverment but just remember the time goverment took you money
