I have a few questions, do you do requests, where did you get your copics, how much were they, what set did you get, and how long did it take for you to get this epic?
@tara3242 I know that you can buy copic markers at hobby lobby! But they are super expensive. I had to buy them at $6.99 USD for just 1 marker. If you do the math though it's actually a little cheeper to get the pack of 6 markers because the packs are usually around $30.00 USD for where I bought them.

@mangaismything she used R02 for the first layer of shading, she then uses R01 to blend them together by going inbetween the base layer and shading XD

I only have one question about your work, I find that my Staedtler fineliners bleed and run when I use them as outlines with my Copics for colours; what fineliners do you use as I can't find any that don't bleed with copics! D:
@JuriyaShoh Sorry for interfering but I actually think that al the liners I have used havent worked that well{even my copic outliners bleed QAQ}. Instead I scan my drawing and then print it out. I find that after my printer ink has dried(takes like 4 minutes if you want to be on the safe-side) and then I color with my copics, then the ink does not smear. Also it might be the paper you use. I use thin paper, because thicker paper absorbs more ink and then bleeds. Good luck ;D
@EToastE Thin paper, not thick. Thick absorbs more ink and then causes your marker to run out of ink quicker and it also sometimes causes your copics to bleed through the paper.
May I ask what's the color name of R02? An art website I usually buy my copics are ( MUST FIND SKIN TONE COLORS PLOX ) only shows YR02 which is Peach Puff.

@Clipchillagirl Maybe you could try buying Copic Ciao Markers? They're very similar to copics, but at a cheaper price, I find them just as good, especially for someone starting out with markers ^^

How fast would I have to color? Usually by the time I finish the first color, it's already dry so it's hard to blend the colors. And what do you outline the lineart with?
Its so perfect it doesn't even look like you did it on a sheet of paper more likely on a pen tablet (im not saying you did on a tablet but its just looks like it).

Paper makes a big difference

Your so lucky. Copic markers is expensive.. especially here in the Philippines. For 72 markers in 1 pack it already cost Php.15,000. there are 4 sets of markers set A, set B, set C and set D.. Ohmy~ the total cost of all this set.. 60,000 Oh my DX. fff~ And oh I REALLY ADMIRE YOUR EPIC TALENT!! THANKS FOR THE TUTORIAL :))
@cutiepie101779 you shouldn't use copics with any pencils or pencil crayons because the graphite stains and dulls the tip. as long as you put pencil crayons on TOP of copics its ok, but using copics on top of pencils isn't a good idea.

@UsagiChan1001 I got to AN every year but not necessarily have an artist table cos spots are very limited, tho I was there last year and the year before, don't know about next year, too far ahead.
I have a question that wasn't in the FAQ: When blending, what angle should you put the brush at? I practically put the whole crush on it to quickly get it done...it's not really working for me. It lands up looking like some cell shading...
@Kumikomizukage I blend away from the darker shade. Because if you blend inward, where ever yo put your marker down first and flick, that will be a darker spot. so I marke sure to start blending ON the already shaded area into the lighter area.

At this point I was using them for about 4-5 months, and even now I can't really say I'm a pro... I just felt that they were easy to use once I picked them up.

okay. so great tutorial, that helps alot :) i wanted to ask: for BLENDING specifically, are you blending the skin tones with LIGHTER skin tone markers? or are you blendig with the colorless blender marker?[if there is such a thing, i can't find it lol]

Your so lucky. Copic markers is expensive.. especially here in the Philippines. For 72 markers in 1 pack it already cost Php.15,000. there are 4 sets of markers set A, set B, set C and set D.. Ohmy~ the total cost of all this set.. 60,000 Oh my DX. fff~ And oh I REALLY ADMIRE YOUR EPIC TALENT!! THANKS FOR THE TUTORIAL :))

@cutiepie101779 you shouldn't use copics with any pencils or pencil crayons because the graphite stains and dulls the tip. as long as you put pencil crayons on TOP of copics its ok, but using copics on top of pencils isn't a good idea.

@cutiepie101779 I use copic multiliners to outline (it's in my FAQ on my main channel..)
I wouldn't recommend using anything else but the copic multiliners because (from my experience) a lot of other lining tools bleed w/ copics

O.o Oh I see your amazing btw hehe lol so "deleter" I've researched it its a brand from copic it looks almost like white out right but it deletes mistakes made with marker and pen right? Anyway! Keep up the amazing tutorials becasue I've learned alot from them, if you do plan on going 2011 let me know I'll def be there to see you and maybe give you glomps for an amazing job ^^

Do you draw from mind or did you learn through books your really good I'm practicing as much as I can to draw like that. I have copics as well and I don't know how to use them but now I do. What's a deleter?

@UsagiChan1001 I got to AN every year but not necessarily have an artist table cos spots are very limited, tho I was there last year and the year before, don't know about next year, too far ahead.

I have a question that wasn't in the FAQ: When blending, what angle should you put the brush at? I practically put the whole crush on it to quickly get it done...it's not really working for me. It lands up looking like some cell shading...

@Kumikomizukage I blend away from the darker shade. Because if you blend inward, where ever yo put your marker down first and flick, that will be a darker spot. so I marke sure to start blending ON the already shaded area into the lighter area.

@oshaikeuchi Hi I have a question hopefully you can answer this and in the future maybe everyone else can stop asking you haha. As I was saying how long did it take you to draw that good without the copic markers i am taking about the drawings you do. It would mean alot to me since I am in summer break and I really want to get better at drawing anime. Also my dad said he would buy me copic markers. Oh yah can you answer this last question? Where did you buy your copic markers at?

@LiuMaoHsing well I think I used a 0.03... I thought that was pretty thin. xD
At this point I was using them for about 4-5 months, and even now I can't really say I'm a pro... I just felt that they were easy to use once I picked them up.

i think i liked using a toothpick more than a brush cuz u get more control of where the paint goes and you have less a chance or blotches

in part since i don't got as many colors and cause .. i quit drawing around 10 years ago for sports -___-
