Remains a classic game. Its the simplicity that makes it great for a blast. I remember seeing everyone standing in awe around a cabinet in 1987. Amazing. I still play Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast on my 6gb quad win 7 box today and still enjoy the ride.

Watching this on 720p is really brings out the full resolution of the game. I never scene the pixels in all their square glory.

It's a shame and testament to Sega's arcade hardware that it took over 10 years before we got a direct port of Out Run to the home game systems.

System 16 board used in the arcades for Out Run far surpassed any computer or gaming systems capabilities when this game was released.

For me, navigating the Desert (3rd option, northernmost path) is tough cuz on the Sega Mega Collection version the road is impossible to see.
