i was wondering i got a wolf muzzleloader and my cusin accedently knocked it over and it broke the trigger assembly how much does the whole trigger assembly cost me :(
i have shot 2 deer with this gun using 100g of pyrodex ....its a fun gun to shoot i have had it for 2 yrs and the brass end in the ram rod just finally broke off....still works though
After a lot of homework I decided to go with this versus a TC. Fresh out of the box and unfired the trigger froze in the "back" position. I could not cock the hammer, open the breech or release the trigger. By carefully pushing the trigger forward while pulling the breeching button I was eventually able to open the breech. Fortunately the gun shop gave me a replacement. Unfortunately I will have to put a lot of rounds through it before I ever really trust the gun...
I bought a used older model wolf for 100.00. I can knock the center out of the target @ 100 yards. this is the second deer season for the gun for me, first year three deer and one already this year. A great rifle, I would shoot it against any other muzzle loader any day!
I had my cva wolf now for 1.5 years and I paid 150.00 for it then....It is by far my favorite gun to shoot...They have the new ones at wal-mart for 167.00.....not a bad price for a great gun.
i love my CVA Wolf i have it sighted in for 100 yard, it is a great gun and i love it i only paid 150 for it witch is great price for a gun of this quality.
Just bought this one at a Wal-Mart for $169. The camo retailing for $30 more. I went with the black because the camo pattern on the wolf just appeared to bright to me. I love CVA muzzleloaders. Best on the market IMO. The gun is balanced well and points very good. It'sasteal at the price they sell these for.
Just checked out the prices on this rifle and found that they start in the 200-220$ range. I suppose the dealers have raised prices on new models so they no longer start well below the 200$ as said here.
@OneShot0001 I know you made this comment like 2 months ago. But Gander mountain has the new Wolf, (as of july 28, 2010) for 179.99 + free shipping. I also entered in a promo code for $20 off any order over $150, so it ended up being $160 total. Pretty good deal I would say. I have seen the old style of wolf for that much $ on a few online stores.
But it is true many places are selling it for more than they should.
