you couldn't have said it better, the crowd that night was incredible and it's clear to see from this video brand new were feedin off all the energy and firing it right back, ive seen them twice since this gig, in london a few months ago and again last month, the crowd was dead both times, i actually got told to "shush" by some gimp, at a brand new gig lol the english just cant do it like us im sorry to say
I didn't really like Brand New until TDAGARIM, but that album is so good. It's unbelievable how much better they've gotten, Jesse most notably, most likely because he's the voice/songwriter of the band. And I don't have Daisy yet, but I pre-ordered it, and if its half as good, I'll be pleased.
god jesse puts so much emotion into this song. brand new has matured so much over the years since YFW. they just keep getting better and better! devil and god is by far their best album to date in my opinon and i would be satisfied if daisy is half as epic and life changing as devil and god. but knowing brand new and jesse's amazing vocal abilities and songwriting brand new will only prove to the world once again how real music sounds :)
I was talkiogn ot a person that was there and aparently he was crying his eyes out while singing this....over hsi ex......thats was an amazing performance
i just thought of this...for some reason the song "You Won't Know" just reminds of me the film "The Virgin Suicides." The lyrics seem to resonate with that story for some reason. Someone should make a music video to that song incorporating scenes from that film to sort of tell a story. I think it'd be sweet!
it was the last song,he broke a string at the beginning, thats why he flings the guitar.the tech taught it was funny though(if u were at the gig ull remember him as the one who kept eggin the crowd on at the beginning!).judgin by the comments here everybody feels the same about this gig as i did,the most amazing gig of my life.its been almost a year since i filmed it and nothin has even come close to it.thx for the comments, its good to know the vid helps people remember that amazin night!
Yes, seeing as he snapped back really quick not to miss a lyric... not at all being a douche. you 'd probably call him a bigger douche if he missed a lyric.
Well not necessarily. I wouldn't go as far as calling him a douche for missing a lyric. But just as common courtesy to a stage crew guy helping you out in a shitty situation, you know?
I know what you mean. The intensity is there, but not to that level and...there is just something so raw it just makes me feel like I am right by him screaming. *shrugs* when I saw them live I was in like ecstacy. And I love them even more for touring with Manchester Orchestra. i had never heard of them, but their live show was second only to Brand new. They were AMAZING.

hey all, just to try and clear up the whole jesse/drugs thing that seems to have developed here.i filmed this stuff and i was standin very close to jesse and im 100% sure the lad wasn't at all on drugs,i think he jus tends to get lost in the music like all brilliant performers do.... and he may have also been a bit drunk :).stil the most amazing concert ever
i wouldn't make assumptions, especially in regards to a persons "drug use". brand new entertains a feeling of mystery about them - to keep them from being constantly in the public eye, while continuing to draw an extremely dedicated fanbase....they can do whatever the y want on stage, and he continues to hit the right notes... i'm pretty sure you are on your way to making terrible guesses about the state of jesse lacey.

wow fuck the dublin crowd, first they sing along to the guitar with some shitty ass doo doo doos and then they clap during the end when it is clearly not a time to be clapping. I hate stupid people who go to shows and worsen the experience for everyone else.
well i say fuck you!!! the fans paid hard earned money to enjoy the show whatever way they fucking want and should'nt have to put up with the likes of you, who can only say something through a keyboard.
yeah a lot of fans paid hard earned money to enjoy the show whatever way they want and not have assholes ruin the experience. plus how else am i supposed to say something? go to dublin and talk to these people, obviously using a keyboard is the only realistically possible way to do this. And yes i encourage people to enjoy the show however they want but it shouldnt affect other peoples enjoyment of the show.
hey this video is amazing, and when they played this song in glasgow it was inspirational, liek the intesity and emotion of it all from jesse's performance was class and effortless.
would you be able to send me this video full quality?
cause the security at glasgow show said that the promoters told them not to let us take videos, so the security guy caught me twice and took me out from the front of the crowd to delete all my videos otherwise they would throw me out.
