In addition - she is not a very compelling TV/movie actress. Her best scenes are on stage where there are no close-ups. Her eyes are dead and all her close ups look almost the same. She never shows any love or tenderness (or desire) while looking at Geoffrey. I find her theatrical, shrill performance distracting and at odds with the rest of terrific cast. She must love him to be married to him for 24 years but she sure doesn't show it on screen.
Love Slings and Arrows - the only sore point is casting of Martha Burns. The woman looks 10 years older than her "love interest" Geoffrey (incandescent Paul) and brings nothing to the cast (other than a slim figure). One truly has to suspend disbelief that any man (especially 22 year old hot boy-toy) would find her attractive.
