@ClassicGAmeLover: Cool down! I also just had a snes at this time ;) and never had a sega consol for myself, but well i liked the sega version more but that´s just my opinion.I prefered the SNES, cause there where more great RPGs and Jump&Runs!

And by the way: Aladdin used a sword in the final battle against the big Dschafar-snake ;-P!

I don't know what the people who say the Genesis version's better are smoking, because the SNES had superior graphics and sound, plus in the Genesis version, Aladdin fights Azim. He never fought Azim in the movie! In the SNES, the first boss is that guy from the market that Jasmine stole from, which makes alot more sense, and the music wasn't played in the wrong places. Plus the SNES by Capcom (pre-Marvel vs. Capcom 3). Mega Man, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, the list goes on.

I have both versions of this game for both consoles STILL. And I personally like the Genesis version better. Another game I really liked better for Genesis was Beavis and Butthead. I didn't like the SNES version. SNES had better versions of games to though. Like Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Both versions are cool. But I like the SNES version of that game more. "I even grew up with the Genesis one" lol

I still remember the time that the movie was one of the more famous and sucessful Disney Movies (half of the credit goes to Robin Williams)In fact it *was* the most sucessful until The Lion King cam out. The game was also good. Though the only drawback to it is that its a lot like Super Mario Bros. But I like how the 2-D Sprites were very fluid and smooth.

This was a great game by Capcom, but the version by SEGA on the Mega Drive was better, more so the graphics. I think in this game, the gameplay was ace, but Capcom messed up a bit with the graphics. Still playable games to this day.
