it's just with japanese. if they dont have those, some ppl take it as offensive. for example: if you dont put those at the end, some may think "wth, idk you and you make it seem like you know me so well". something like that. first aquaint it's lastname-san/kun. then if closer, first name- kun/san closer just name but if they want, chan/chin is just something kute i think. sama is for highly respect. san/kun is casual i dont think it's accurate, i researched. im not japanese :D hope it helps?
