I live in the northeast USA. Even if I die up here, I wanna be buried in some mausoleum in southern California! It stays warm and dry there and there is not enough rain to create mold and mildew in my tomb! I bet those who RIP in that area are the most comfy.
Do you ever wonder what happens to graves and crypts during earthquakes??? Also imagine all of the famous DNA that there is in this place that could be copied.
We went there to visit the great Yma Sumac on the first anniversary of her death on 11/02. What a great place - filed with energy yet so calming, creepy yet celebratory. There's no other place quite like it.
Nice video man. I'm patiently waiting for the day when I make it out to LA. Hollywood Forever is one of the places I'm looking forward to visiting. As any self respecting grave hunter/celebrity death hag would. I admire your video editing skills and techniques
Attorney, son of copper magnate and US Senator William A. Clark, made a fortune in mining and had a legal practice in Los Angeles. He founded the L.A. Philharmonic in 1919 and financed it until his death . He donated buildings to the U.of Virginia, the U. of Nevada and to UCLA he bequeathed the Clark Memorial Library. Clark's. His first wife, Mabel Foster, died giving birth to their only son, who was killed in a 1931 plane crash; his 2nd wife, Alice, also died.
I remember when Hattie's great great nephew dedicated her stone since for many years no one ever put one up . This was a really nice video, thanks for putting it up. And the geese wanted you to give them food, they always do that.
Thanks a ton. It was a spur of the moment idea when I was there that day. I had just begun to learn to edit, so it's not amazing or anything, but it's fun to watch.
This is a famous cemetery in Hollywood, with over 300 famous star buried there. It's a unique place, because they have fun events threw out the year, on the grounds.. Glad you could watch it .
Jer, this is one of my favorites of your vids I've seen. everything just came together, and I have some strange fascination with cemeteries (from an early age I remember going through and trying to find the oldest headstones). thanks for doing this, it was really touching, and the music very fitting and haunting.
I do too. I attribute this to the phenomena of reincarnation. We feel a kinship with death. It's like an old friend and we don't want to lose complete touch with it. Also, cemetery sex can be enormously exciting.
Hey Jeremiah, thanks for posting your really cool little film on Hollywood Forever. It brought back all the feelings of awe I felt when I made my visit there. I aspecially appreciate your nod to Hattie McDaniel!
Fascinating! First part of the video in the mausoleum gave me chills. Creepier than a horror movie. Great editing. Next trip to California will include a visit to here.
I try different ones each day and I change the titles of my videos. I realize no one is searching for Michael Buckley. So I try to make the first tag something that is popular that day! Borat is a lock LOL LOL Don't overdo it. Try a few- then change the nest day.

The island mausoleum belongs to the Clark family - three people are buried inside. A father, mother and son.
gerdislouise 2 years ago 5
Thanks for the info! I always wondered who it belonged too. It must have cost a fortune, eh?! Wow!
