@TheVidoGame It isn't. My 360 had the same problem, but tbh it isn't a major fault either, for me there was a piece of paper that had gotten sucked inside the case that was brushing past the fans, I opened it up and took it out and all was well in the end.

My 360 then got the RRoD a few days later, but that's a story for another time.

I think I might have a problem, i used to use the intercooler, until one day i got one red ring in the lower right hand corner of the system. I took off the fan, vaccumed some of the dust out of the system fan and disk drive, and the system is working alright, albeit it makes a low buzzing noise. Is that normal? Will my system be ok or should i inquire for help?

My computer did that once. I worked it out by giving the fans (spelling?) a bit of oil..

Its important that the oil is neutral though.. Oil witch is made for sewing machines might work..

If you are lucky, you might be able to fix it just by cleaning the fans.

MS just fixed my drive cuz the "open tray" error (and horrible noises). Now its LOUDER and freezes randomy. THANKS XBOX!!!!! You think when the get one for repair they could ... I dunno, FIX IT ALL!! but know they put a 2 week fix on it, let it break, Pay AGAIN to ship it back & forth. And we wonder why they can't afford to put decent hardware in their systems. Amen. I've only had to send in my 360 one time and I've had one since the very start. It red ringed of course, but it took it a good two years to do so lol. I guess I've just gotten lucky. =P PS3's are an okay console. It needs more games though.. I don't really see the point in getting one, It's a PS2 with a hard drive, better graphics card, and a Blu-ray player. =/ The only thing I'll give props to for PS3 is playstation home.

Hmm the possible cause of that is a high accumulation of dust or any other materials on the fans on the back. Try putting a really big fan next to it or something and that might help, or compressed air. Or you could just send it to Microsoft.
