  • I WANT YOUR PEAVEY 6565+ AMP

  • @ldguitr how do set up ur two amps betwween the morley switcher

  • @DReidGuitars The morley switcher works like a splitter for your guitar. You plug your guitar into the morley and it has two outputs which go to the input of the amps. Then with the morley you can chose then desired amp.

  • I have that attenuator same one for my Vox AC-30, which is wonderful for cleans. I want the 6505. Glad I already got the 16 ohm version. Does it work well for your home use without disturbing neighbors? My amp is a loud 30 watts, probably loudest 30 out there it's 16 ohm. I can crank it with the blue THD. I was wondering how it would work with a real powerful amp like yours 120 watts I think. Would it be OK for home. Those Peaveys kick butt for distortion and metal tones.

  • roland is a badass amp.

  • what is the name of that blue thing?? (Volume Control) i couldn´t understand it...^^

  • @blubbGUITARblubb its a thd hotplate, tube ams like the 6505+ sound better cranked, the thd lets you turn your amp up loud to make it scream, but then have a mater volume to keep the tone, but not make yourslef go death, hope i helped =]

  • Whats your take on the boss processor? I've been trying for years to find good tone out of these things. The sounds are great but the tones ugghh. Regardless the brand every time I use processors they sound like I'm hearing it underwater when it's coming through the house PA. It would make life so much easier to find one piece of equipment that held all my tones, but in an imperfect world I found that Individual pedals are always the way to go for maximum tonal quality. Whats your take?

  • @BellaKoei I've got the GT-8 in my rig (main guitar is BC Rich Assassin Outlaw and amp is Marshall TSL 602) and I think it's got a pretty good sound. Perhaps it's just a bit watery 'cause of going straight into the PA? I've always liked my sound to go to an amp somewhere along the line as going straight into a PA or mixing desk means re-writing every pre-amp set on all the patches to make it sound how I like.

Just my view there but happy to talk pedals with you (I've got a few othe Boss pedals)

  • @BellaKoei The Boss GT 8 is good for effects but I use the amp for the tone, which is why I use two amps in this rig. I've tried using the GT 8 as a processor and running it direct, but I didn't like the tone. Like crazygitar my opinion is you need an amp.

  • great rig! thats gotta be rock solid for live playing!

  • nice rig!

  • i've still got the morley AB chanel switcher

  • hows the 6505 cab?

  • @pooker5231

    and vox!

  • hows the morley aby. I hear it adds noise an =d a loud pop when switching between

  • I haven't experienced any switching noise, very quiet. Hope this helps you.

  • Can you play Drowning pool on the The heavier AMP? I play alot of Nirvana And heavy metal Bands like drowning pool so it would be great if you told which amp would be best for that thank you im having a hard time picking one lol.

  • Some of the heaviest bands around use this amp. But like everything else its personal taste. I use the preamp set about three and the mids on ten. For heavy just turn up the gain and decrease the mids. You can see in my videos there's plenty of gain. I recommend trying out several types. That being said I've used this heavily for the past year and never had a problem with it. I hope this helps.

  • look up Orange and Mesa amps

  • Nice gear, Post some videos of your band
