Oda hs made this distinct from 'Moral Justice', which Coby, Aikoiji, and others believe in. Sengoku is also an Absolute Justice believer but has clarity and common sense, and is a proper professional compared to Aikanu.

First off Akainu wasn't scared but suprised. he tried to kill a fodder and was stopped by another Yonkou, probably the second strongest by sheer portrayal. Seconds after that Akainu called Shanks "son of a bitch" in the manga... Akainu took on Whitebeard why the fuck should he fear shanks? And Sengoku ended the war cuz they already won and it was pointless to battle Shanks...

Let me say this everyone knows that in all anime character tend to have those moments where they gain great strength through great pain or adversity so i can see Garp killing Akainu in this one moment while hes weak and Garp is in a state of rage but in a even fight Garp stands no chance against him. @GeneralGhost you don't give garp enough credit, Garp may be older but he has mastered more abilities than Akainu ever has. Garp hasn't shown a Devil Fruit Ability but i doubt he has one. Akainu uses only his devil fruit like a hooker uses their body. Garp has more experience and wasn't Roger's Rival for no reason. Garp definately has a hundred times more skill than Akainu ever will. Akainu is just psychotic and selfish, that's the only reason why he has achieved such a status. no skill
