@darrenmother Yes. Sherry Scott sang lead on their first two albums. However, she had left the group and the band had changed almost completely by the time Head To the Sky was released.

@jetit Actually I believe it was Jessica Cleaves and Philip Bailey. She is on the "Head to the Sky" album cover and is the only female credited with vocals on it. Altovise Davis was the former wife of Sammy Davis Jr. and never recorded with EWF.

Because it is still EWF and I always thought they were more spiritually driven in their songs.But I did not care for it (Boogie W.) when it came out. Especially songs from the five albums that came before Way Of The World. It's not just EWF, I have the same complaint about certain songs fro P-Funk, and James Brown as well.

I never listened to this song hard enough until now, over 40 years because I have now LIVED what they were talking about. Their music was not just decades but centuries before it time. 100 years from now, we will not be listening to JayZ, 50cents or PDiddy, but to EWF and the messages they were giving us about peace, love, faith and hope. No one will be sampling those rappers then.
