  • As a film composer, I appreciate using this scene as a test bed for a film-scoring exercise. However, it didn't need music, hence Carpenter's lack of score over the scene. In particular, the sting when he picks up the knife feels wrong as we are already POV on Michael at this point, so it isn't much of a surprise that he reaches for the knife. Equally, silence is just as powerful as music sometimes. Still: well done, if you put those points aside.

  • @paynterr Carpenter didn't really did music for this film. I mean. I would like to resee the movie with a new soundtrack. I've always been curious what it would be like to rewatch an old Horror movie with a completely new modernized reworking score done by a professional. Just because I am curious to see what THAT be like. But more than likely. Impassible (sine nothing is impossible).

  • Will you send me the score by Tyler Bates

  • 10 times better than the original clip!! Do you have the entire soundtrack?

  • @hisehise98 I have only made this clip for Halloween II, as this was a part of the film which wasn't scored. I do have the original soundtrack to Halloween II and Rob Zombie's Halloween, which is the score used in this video.

  • this is amazing. you actually made me shit myself. (Y) great job man.

  • I think you did a really good job. I've seen this movie dozens of times and I actually like what you did with it. Thank you.
